Great Editor, Unusable Export: Font Size Bug Renders Subtitles Tiny
No matter what I set the font size to—whether I use the standard 24pt or push it up to an extremely large 48pt within the project settings—the exported subtitle file is critically flawed. Upon saving and loading the file into any external video player, the text defaults to an unreadably small size. This isn't a minor issue; it means the core function of the application—producing usable subtitles—is completely broken. I have spent hours precisely timing and styling subtitle tracks only to have the output be functionally useless every single time due to this persistent font size error. Until the developers fix the bug that causes the export process to ignore all user-defined font size parameters, I cannot recommend this app for any serious subtitle work. It’s an editor that creates beautiful files that cannot be viewed.
