Sun valley meh
Like everything sun Valley has to offer the app is basic. Designed to appeal to rich skiers and get them to spend more money on overpriced amenities. I’ve skied and boarded here for over 50 years and the only thing that saves the mountain is they can’t bulldoze all the steepness out.

This app could be so much more creative and useful! As locals, we tried to use for mountain and area information, but it simply needs a new beginning and fresh look.

Parking Lot
Why is the large parking lot at River Run not paved? It is 2026 and a dirt parking lot does not match the Sun Valley experience. I want to go skiing not offloading before I go skiing.

Love all the mountain updates. Do wish the run tracker was still available on the app.
New app doesn’t open on 18.3.2
So glad to hear you updated the app for the World Cup finals, but it doesn’t matter if you can’t open and use the app. You should test any new app update on a variety of phones and definitely make sure it’s compatible with recent and current versions of iOS. Not a great look Sun Valley!

The app is useful but world benefit from a vertical tracker like most large (and smaller) resorts offer

Do the Tour!
Did the free mountain ski tour with Tim and Katherine (KJ) on Monday of this week, Jan 20th. First day of 5 days skiing Bald Mountain. Exactly what I was looking for!! I had never skied here before. They were both great and they showed us the entire mountain. Having a great time because of a great start to the week thanks to Katherine and Tim!!!

Marketing app
This app is not very helpful. It does not provide much information about the mountain, conditions, parking, opening times, real lodge details. Lots of links to the Sun Vally resort marketing website
Incorrect Weather
Does not show accurate weather information in real time on the mountain.
Not loading
App suddenly stopped working. Says it’s out of date but it’s not.

Did SV forget to hire someone to keep ski and snow conditions updated on this app? Info is never right.
Gorgeous place to ski!
The views from the top are breathtaking. The lodges are luxurious. All the staff are friendly. Highly recommend it.
