When I first started, Sunnyside, I was averaging about 2 1/2 drinks a day on holidays. Now my every day drink total is between four and seven drinks per week. I get excited about the challenge of skipping drink days. And now when I report on Dry days, I get a huge degree of satisfaction. I no longer feel like I have to drink every day. But I do enjoy my glass of wine with dinner or a margarita in the evening. I recommend Sunnyside for people who really need to just “knock it off” but don’t want to quit completely!!🙏

Impossible to unsubscribe
Do not join this program ! While it was useful for a few months a few years ago, it has been impossible to get rid of them. First I couldn’t cancel my paid membership until my renewal date so I paid for services I wasn’t using. And they continue to send spam texts selling medication I neither want nor need. No matter how I block and report them the sales spam continues to arrive. I can only conclude that this is a fraudulent grift and if you actually need help controlling your drinking you are better off going elsewhere for support.

I do not drink any alcohol and quit smoking in 1992.
Leave me alone!
I quit the account, deleted the app, begged them to lose my details and I still receive daily harassment from Sunnyside. Sure, you can quit alcohol, but apparently, there is no way to quit this app or their daily SMS.
In app tour is broken
Your in app tour is broken, I literally can’t use the app. It breaks and shuts down the app after the 4th step. Please fix!!!!
Effective but
I don’t care for the reminders that pop up on my AppleCar Play for everyone in the car to see I use an alcohol moderation app. That’s my bizz. Second, need a lite version for about 20 bucks per year that excludes the support people. I just want to track my consumption to stay honest. 3) the prompts are rarely helpful, I’m like the thousands of members that disregard the prompt and and free lance whatever we want to get off our chest, like how hard it is to give up social lives and friends while reducing or quitting alcohol.

Sunnyside Is Super Helpful!
I love Sunnyside! I am on my third year of using the app. It has helped me feel more in control of my drinking and I still appreciate the daily reminders to help me stay on track with my goals!
Solid app but always breaks
I love the idea of this app but it’s so annoying how often it opens to a blank screen.
$299 a year is insane
After the free trial, everything in the app is fully disabled and all it does is give you a prompt that says, "Tap below to reactivate your Sunnyside subscription for $299.00/year." There's a "Reactivate Now" button and you can't even access your account or the app settings! There is no option to sign up for a cheaper plan or even review your progress. This is really predatory and I would never recommend this app to someone trying to cut back. It's advertised as $99/year, yet there's actually no way to sign up for that plan and there is no monthly option. Very scammy.

Accountability without the pressure
Genuinely enjoy using the app- the integration with text messaging makes it really easy to use. I set a goal and have been tracking everyday for over a year now. It helps to be more mindful about habits.

I joined this group in June 2026. It was phenomenal at first! I thrived and cut my drinking by 90%!
Impossible to quit subscription!!
I subscribed to this app for 1 year, decided it was not for me and cancelled my subscription. I did not receive a confirmation and noticed I was just charged again for another year. “Contact us” link does not work so there is no way to dispute. Shameful business model.

My personal tracking app
I really appreciate how this app has allowed me to track my use of alcohol and the feedback and motivational tips I get everyday. This is the first time in my life where I have seriously cutback. So thank you
Solid App
Sunnyside has helped me stay accountable with daily tracking and has given me the insight as to how much I was really drinking. Over time, I was able to cut back more than 60% and my body has never felt better!
No support here
Sure would like to try this app. Too bad it takes me through half the setup before informing me it doesn’t support the country where I am! People travel. People move. It can be overwhelming. I really could use this support!
It helps
I have been tracking my alcohol consumption for two years. I have decreased my drinking and increased my dry days with this app. I dont always hit my target but I try to keep my target low but within my "do-able range. I find Naltrexone helps.
I love that Sunnyside is there EVERY DAY with me. I love the notifications and the tracking numbers. I occasionally check out other people's journey and enjoy that. Support is always available.

Community support and reminders
I appreciate several things about the Sunnyside app. It is geared toward helping folks stay in control. There is no pressure to abstain completely. But, there are reminders and support offered if you appear to be going beyond the limits you yourself have set. It is also flexible in that you may change targets you’ve set if you feel the day warrants it.
Some of the automated responses are a bit robotic. But, overall and for the price, this is a great app.
