Drainage over flow issue

Complaint submitted over 4 days ago no responded so far . Lot more to do for village swachhata ki lea

Useless Application

No action has been taken on the complaint so far, and I cannot see any progress or updates on its status. It would be better if there were an option to visit the office and file the complaint physically.

Waste of time and effort

I had reported a complaint requesting for clearance for solid waste (construction materials from road repair), soon with 1 hr of reporting the complaint I received a acknowledgement saying “On the job” which made me feel very positive impression about the app however it seems it was to soon. Its over three weeks now nothing has been done yet, not even any visits has been made by any officials. So I feel this is a waste of time and effort which has no use.

Not working

This app doesn’t work for complaints in villages or towns. Where majority of the problems are about open defecation and garbage dumps.

FAQ

What does the Swachhata-MoHUA app do?

The Swachhata-MoHUA app allows citizens to report civic-related issues such as garbage dumps, uncleaned public toilets, or garbage vehicle non-arrival. Users can post a picture of the issue along with its location, which is then forwarded to the concerned city corporation and assigned to a sanitary inspector for resolution.

How do I report an issue using the app?

To report an issue, you simply take a picture of the civic problem using your smartphone and select the appropriate category. The app automatically captures the location and allows you to add a landmark. Your complaint will then be assigned to the relevant sanitary inspector or engineer.

Is the Swachhata-MoHUA app free to use?

Yes, the Swachhata-MoHUA app is completely free to download and use. It is the official app of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), GOI, and does not have any in-app purchases or advertisements.

What kind of civic issues can I report?

You can report a variety of civic issues including garbage dumps, garbage vehicles not arriving, dustbins not cleaned, sweeping not done, dead animals, and issues related to public toilet cleaning, blockage, lack of water supply, or electricity.

What happens after I submit a complaint?

After you submit a complaint, it is forwarded to the city corporation and assigned to the concerned sanitary inspector. You will receive regular updates on the status of your complaint, including a 'Resolved' image uploaded by the inspector. You also have the option to reopen the complaint if you are not satisfied with the resolution.
