Good platform, unfriendly staff
I like the app and feel like they have a good system going. However, I got chewed out by one of their staff members in the comments on a sale for not providing the tracking number yet at that point and it was hardly halfway through the second business day (which is the timeline they ask the seller to ship out.) anyways, you would think that the staff would know their own policies…. I had to remind them that I had until the end of that day to provide the tracking number. Not great

Wouldn’t let me list anything. Not sure how sellers are able to use this but this was probably the worst experience I ever had with any selling platform

Discrimination
This company refused to let me post my FULLY UNLOCKED phone as an unlocked phone, forcing me to list it as an ATT phone. It was also a pain to create a listing. Horrible communication. 0/10.
Randomly suspended?
Was new to the app and asked a question to support. Answered my question and then minutes later got my account suspended, tried to appeal and was ghosted. Don’t recommend if you wanna get suspended in a few days for no reason.

Best place to buy a phone. Bar none. Have used several times over the years never an issue.

This app is soo amazing top tier security for selling and buying items the customer service is A+ they are very friendly and will walk you through anything you need help with I was really worried about the scams but was wrong if you are looking for the best selling app this app is IT
Very buggy
I was not able to list a product because once you select characteristics it will clear the other selections for no reason. Editing the listing doesn’t change the fields correctly. Seems like very basic features are broken.
Listing process
Incredibly infuriating listing process requires jumping through many hoops, and devices that are clearly mint condition was downgraded to good quality
Clicking email link crashes App
When clicking link to newly listed product in email notifications, app opens & attempts to go to product, then swiftly disappears. App is still running, can be recalled from a swipe up, but lands on main page.

Best Place for Phones
Been purchasing and selling my phones from Swappa for years. App works flawlessly, would recommend for phone or watch purchases to anyone.

USE AMAZON OR EBAY BUT NOT THIS
If you don’t receive any tracking info or any response of any kind from the buyer, which in my case, is what happened, Swappa will simply direct you to contact PayPal support. I ordered the product Feb 21st and the following week, no response of any kind from the buyer but of course my money was charged and gone from my account through PayPal. PayPal is telling me to wait until MARCH 19th for a response!!! Use Amazon or buy in person. Save yourself this headache and skip Swappa. My money is in limbo and I have to wait for an unresponsive seller to not respond for weeks longer to get my money back. NEVER AGAIN

Won’t let me list devices
Won’t let me list devices for sale stuck in pending I’ve added photos a good description phone is spotless unlocked and owned outright and they don’t give me any way in the app to reply to the employee that locked my listing and locked comments on it. I’ve never replied once on the comments they drone it locked comments with no way to rectify it. The app is 100% useless for its intended purpose. I never had this much issue on eBay and I’ve been selling there since 2005

Horrible App
Never use if looking to sell any piece of technology. The app decides to ban me write after someone ordered and I had to deal with refunding the person. Absolute disgrace of a marketplace.
Best reseller
Swappa is the best reseller I have used personally. On time as described and easy to navigate and safe. I tell everyone who ask about Swappa time and time again.

Can’t log in on app, but can in browser
The sign in code they send via email never arrives fast enough to use it when trying to sign into the app. It shows up about 10 min later and then the app says it’s invalid presumably because it already has expired. I do not have this issue on mobile web or desktop web. Not sure what lazy or cheap product team decided to default to email mfa on mobile app and set the expiry time so stupidly short.
