Used to be good

Fix the picture portion of the app. Nobody wants to be fighting the app when you’re on the side of the highway. When you click to take pictures, it zooms in and also flips the camera at a 45Degree angle and it is nothing but a pain.

Also fix it where it stops Automatically putting you on scene, towing, tow destination. Because the pickup location isn’t always right, the destination isn’t always right, we do change it in app to get paid correctly later on. But when your on the side of the highway, your not going to call it in to get it changed, your going to get the job or jobs finished and take care of the customers.

Impossible to sustain a business on these rates

I am extremely disappointed with the current state of the Swoop platform. I have absolutely no calls, and I’m lucky if I see 1–2 jobs in an entire week.
Even worse are the rates being accepted in this area. There are service providers taking jobs for as low as $18. Given the record-high gas prices, skyrocketing insurance premiums, and constant vehicle maintenance costs, it is mathematically impossible to turn a profit even at $23–$30 per call.

It makes me wonder who exactly is performing this labor for $18. It seems highly likely that these are providers operating without proper insurance or, worse, exploiting undocumented workers hired by businesses to get high call valume with cheap labor. This isn't just bad business; it feels criminal. I truly believe FBI and ICE need to get involved here to investigate these predatory and potentially illegal labor practices. Unless Swoop starts prioritizing legitimate providers and fair wages, this platform is a race to the bottom.

Going down hill

I used to like this app, but the more updates they come out with, the worse it gets. My coworkers and I all agree that it is frustrating when you go to take pictures and the app switches from 9:16 ratio to 16:9 ratio (sideways) and you have to rotate your phone side to side to get it to flip the right way. Not to mention, it zooms in when it switches, so you can not take a picture of a full car without standing 30ft back. I think SWOOP forgot we use this app on side the of busy highways/interstates and we do not have time to fight an app!

ALSO, it is so frustrating when the pickup location is wrong. So you put onsite at a different address then swoop has. (Don’t have time to call and wait for you’ll go switch the pickup location).. then it automatically switches you to Towing, when you’re not even towing. Like, hey.. I’m still trying to winch this car out of the ditch, I’m not towing yet….

unacceptable update, trash devs

Unsafe !!

They rolled out a new update when it comes to taking picture , I would honestly say definitely going to be An issue with all motor clubs making it unsafe with pictures not properly being able to to line up with the markings that was added to take pictures. A lot of to operator being in the middle of the highway trying to take pictures, and it not fitting inside of the designated box that is needed is kind of unsafe because it is not allowing
For the Camera to have significant amount of room, north state, and it’s place. The previous update would allow us to take the pictures, but without having to line it up with the picture that is given in this new update definitely something that’s really be looked at. Or just take that feature off.
