Absolutely, getting notified of chat replies is a great way to stay on top of conversations. We appreciate the 3-star review and will continue to improve. For specific feedback on limited functionality, you can share details with our support team at help@syncromsp.com.
Ways to go yet
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback and for acknowledging the progress we've made. We understand your frustration that remote control using Splashtop on iOS devices is still not functioning as expected. This should indeed be possible, and we'd like to investigate this issue further. Could you please email us at help@syncromsp.com or contact support with some more details about the specific error message you're encountering? To ensure you have the latest functionality, could you also confirm if you have the most recent version of the Splashtop app installed? You can check for updates on the App Store here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/splashtop-for-rmm/id1213999224
Not quite there, but closer
This app has not improved. Super disappointed in the lack of information. I should be able to see estimates, invoices, customer information…it says in the description this is a PSA and RMM but it hardly does either one of those things. Love the platform otherwise, but the mobile app is killing it for me.
Original Review:
This app is meant to improve upon the previous one in many aspects. However, while the UI has a received a nice visual upgrade, it pretty much ends there. This app has severely limited utility.
You cannot see assets, check on monitoring, get system details, etc. without an RMM alert coming through related to that asset. Almost every other RMM provider offers this is some way on their mobile app. This is arguably one of the most important features an MSP’s vendor app should have.
You cannot see assets when searching for, and entering, a customer’s profile.
Creating a ticket for a customer does not allow you to attach a specific asset for that customer. Title, Description, type, status is all you can enter. Ticket time tracking works well, though.
A customers profile displays locations, contact information (email and phone for primary only, you cannot see additional contacts or add any) but will not let you make a call or send an email via this page, nor edit the customer. Furthermore, only the street numbers and names (1st line) of the address is shown. No state or zip. Just put the full address in there.
New leads that come through will send your phone a notification, give you the little red number badge, and then fail to show up when you open the app, because you cannot even see your notifications within the app, only RMM alerts. What? Notifications need to be added to this app. This should be a basic function. When notifications are cleared from the company domain, it should also clear the badge. Mine is currently stuck showing I still have a notification.
The appointments and chat features are great. Nothing special there, again a basic feature that most apps have.
Overall I am disappointed in this iteration after all the hype of the new app launch. This is not any better from a utility standpoint until more essential features and QoL improvements are made.
I’d give it 0 Stars if I could
Awesome start
New icon, same functionality
Chats still will not load, no matter how many times I uninstall and clear cache. I find myself needing a web browser to respond to people as the loading icon just spins and spins.
As bad as the first app but with an upgraded UI.
Horrible
I got a notification from an alert that has now cleared but there’s no way to clear the notification from the app.
