Poor interface so far
Does not allow you to type birthdate on the verify identity page only selecting by a calendar which does NOT support changing the year. So you must tap a ridiculous number of times to get to your date unless you were born in the previous year.
Good idea-poor app
EasyPay is a great idea. Get your card, top up money (only foreign currency-no Thai Baht-thats how the bank earns money) and pay almost everywhere in Thailand even on street markets. But, the app runs poorly. Takes forever to load, need to enter your 6digit code every time , no Face Id…pity.

The app is unpolished, lag of optimisation, full of frustration to use as e-wallet payment. Not recommended!
Please improve the app speed
It’s such a useful app to have in Thailand, saves me carrying cash, but please improve the login experience with either Face ID or the PIN number being responsive, currently it’s slow. I still rate 4* mainly because I like the principle but just spend a little time on improving this. Also remove the 1700Baht restriction if I’ve loaded the account let me use it.

They are insisting on doing the exchange rate with them using your currency and the rate sucks. Taking Railway and subway can be used on your own local visa or master card.

Crashes all the time
I could never pay with this. Ended up using credit cards. The system constantly crashed when trying to pay.
Slow and expensive
The promptpay has to be topped up with foreign currency at the kbank exchange booth, not just any branch. The airport location has a terrible markup and the city locations are slightly better. After you top up and try to actually pay, it takes at least 30s to get from opening the app to actually paying because of all the loading.

Ça fonctionne seulement dans trop peu de lieu. Il faut que le vendeur/restaurant soit enregistré en tant que société et pas en tant que personne privée ( ce qui est souvent le cas pour les petits business) Ça ne vaut pas le coup. Surtout que il faut déposer de l’argent liquide pour alimenter l’application et la banque prend un pourcentage en frais.

Need to pre-load a separate card to use prompt pay
And nowhere is this made clear before you sign up for an account and navigate to the easy pay tab. It would be great if I could connect it to Apple Pay, especially since I used my Apple ID to sign up for the account. But as it is, too much hassle to use, I will stick with Baht cash. So yet another useless account sign up.

Still can be better!
I use this app now already couple times! And I’m happy to have it! Since the last update I can pay almost in every shop but still can pay at market or at Taxi, would be good if this feature can be added! And the app needs a small boost it reacts a little bit slow! But overall I will continue to use!
Update: now scan and pay at market Vendors and so on is possible! Now it‘s easy to be at beach and buy stuff from the motorbike vendors very easy! 🙏👍🏼

Hard to use
I agree with most people here that it took too long to get to the part that you could actually pay. It worked well with vendors in the well established mall but barely compatible with street vendors. Also not working with 7-eleven (the most important 😂) Lastly if you are outside of city center it was so hard to find the Kbank FX booth to top up. The regular Kbank branch wont top up for you and did give me a look for asking at certain branches. You will also need your passport and foreign currency to top up with semi bad rate. The Kbank fx booth search feature is also horrible!!!

Good intention poor execution
This app is a good idea but is poorly designed and barely works. It takes too long to load. Too long to then get into payments while you hold up a line hoping it will work. It does not accept personal QR codes which more vendors use than a business QR. also the fact you can ONLY load it with foreign cash currency is ridiculous. They need to redo this app completely it’s embarrassing how bad it is.
