Complete rubbish
Apps are truly terrible. Clearly haven’t had any user experience or real world use. I despise using this app, it’s a poor and stressful experience, and I’m an IT professional!
Could do better
Apple pay is intermittently available. Sometimes the app is down. Spurious bookings. Confusing menu structure.
Why show the dinner booking days with option to bring lunch? Just don’t book that day! Why not show the dinner menu on each day to help with bookings?

Worst app ever
It’s so frustrating that our kids’ schools have to use this tripe. Almost every time we open it we have to re-login, or one of ours kids doesn’t show up on it, or it crashes, or it just flat out errors and refuses to let us in (like tonight). As a software developer myself I’d be embarrassed to be a part of the team who shipped this in its current state. Please sort it out or shut it down.

Needs updating for payment processing
They still have not ironed out the Apple Pay issues so forced to use the website as an alternative negating the need for the app
Works periodically
Good app… when it works! It’s so frustrating to have to reenter your card details for every payment. Then the one time you have your card ready to do it, it offers Apple Pay???? It doesn’t even allow for auto fill of card details… Lots of work and one update would sort it to make it so much better!

I can’t use this app it drive me nuts! I want to use the offshoot app School Money but that doesn’t seem to be available on the iPhone. It doesn’t save card details. I can’t login on the web. When I try to pay, I’m asked for verification from my bank but the screen has part cut off so you cant click on the verify button.

Does the job
But could be better, Apple Pay shows only sometimes. Card details don’t save so you have to input card details on a weekly basis. I’ve had to reinstall the app a few times because there are no dinner bookings are there it only shows messages , notice board, term calendar in the dropdown.

Schools really should use this nonsensical app before they ask parents to navigate this really insane way to move things forwards. It’s like taking 10 steps back! I can’t add my other twin on and I’m not getting any help with adding another child on.

Schools have clearly invested in this app and it seems they are the only ones. The developer needs to sort out the numerous problems with the app from accessing it (crashes immediately) to glitchy functions. Really terrible software design.
Horrible App
Forced to use this rubbish to book child’s school meals. Dreadful experience, no way to save card details and always have to quit app and relaunch to get Apple Pay option…. That’s when it loads at all.

Schools really should use this themselves before forcing parents to use it for all payments and communications.
It’s quite possibly the worst app I’ve ever used and is absolutely not fit for purpose.
Making payments is arduous and near on impossible. Apple Pay has been made available once in 6 years. The other times I have to manually input card details, which is a pain because I have to dig out my card. The major problem lies when it’s for a larger payment and you have to authorise the transaction through the bank. It’s actually impossible to complete and click that you’ve authorised the transaction due to how the app has been coded. The only option is to cancel and try again the following day and hope you don’t need bank authorisation. This app and company is a complete shambles and schools need better vetting of services they outsource.

Apple Pay hardly works.
Once in a blue moon the Apple Pay option will work other than that you will have to put your details in manually which is annoying.
I wish my school would switch
This app is incredibly basic, and yet somehow seems to only function properly half the time. There are constant issues with it connecting, the Apple Pay feature only works if you close and reload it multiple times some days, and often parents are left stranded with no way to pay for lunches and clubs due to outages. If any school is thinking of using this company please run now.

Sorry but it’s garbage
I work in tech and find it really frustrating, crashes all the time. Apple Pay works intermittently (not worked for months now), was told it was being fixed.
Adding a payment doesn’t always update, I’ve had to phone the school on multiple occasions due to financial anomalies!
All round terrible.
I use it through necessity, not choice. That’s a dangerous game for an app developer to play.

Clunky and doesn’t work
Long message from school come ms in 3 parts and tonight I can’t even get access as says my internet is not working which isn’t the case.
A pain in the A**!
This app is an absolute nightmare, the Apple Pay function only sometimes works, why does it randomly come up as an option like 20% of the time? Then if it isn’t I have to type in all my card details (AND EMAIL!) every time! Then there’s the fact that there have been multiple times I can’t book my child’s lunches for the week because the app just will not work. Lastly I have found that I can book the week’s lunches but if my child changes his mind and I try to change an option it will make me pay again! What a joke!

My app randomly stopped working
Beyond disappointing Minus 1 Stars.
Everything everyone is saying and I keep on saying. Never any developer responses, acknowledgement or apologies. My school is ditching it for all of these reasons. Not recommended under any circumstances. Walk to your child’s school and pay in cash.
