App starts to run and then stops after accepting the login
Not a good app
I have been using this app for a year. Reliability has gone down with each successive month. I like the idea of the app with its insulin calculator and time stamp management. But it doesn’t work at a high enough rate to justify continuing using this app. Today, the time changed and the app will not load. That is the last straw for me. I will be looking at other apps to determine if they have suitable reliability.

Not working!
Not only does it not keep records of my sugars that are transferred from my meter, but note it hasn’t been keeping track of the food I’m logging!
Rude Support Team
The app runs slow, sometimes taking half an hour to load the actual screen before you can use the calculator to calculate insulin. The 2nd tier support team is disgustingly rude. All they say is “So what are you complaining about with our app?” It’s not complaining if someone is genuinely just trying to get the app to work or the button to work. If I wasn’t required by my doctor to use this app, I never would. Would NOT recommend!

Works Intermittently
I like being able to record all my sugar levels, insulin dosages and food intake. However it’s near impossible to refill test strips and when I do I barely get a month’s worth because I test 4x daily. Also my tempo button just stopped working and I’ve only had it 4 1/2 months where it’s supposed to last at least 8 months (I try not to unnecessarily press it.) I love how super convenient and affordable the strips and pen needles are but please supply more!!

Never matches my g6 since last update. Not worth the expense when I can manually input in my g6.

This is the worst app I have ever used.
If I could find one thing positive I would say it but I can’t. My doctor is the one who wanted me to use this and I communicated that too many issues and agreed I could stop using it.

Has potential but very buggy
This app has a a lot of potential but is VERY buggy, with data just disappearing and it not auto logging from the tempo buttons. Its bad enough that its impossible to get refills on the test strips for their meter that works with the app, but to lose data is very frustrating and counter intuitive, especially with diabetes. I am not sure how long I will be able to remain with this system.

Does not work with the new Apple update
I love the app, how ever after the latest Apple update it didn’t work properly and now will not open. Please fix ASAP!
Not a good app
I have nothing but problems with this app. Cannot edit food when entered in for a meal. So calculates way too many carbs.Searching for a food takes forever if you have time to sit and wait that’s fine (like an extremely long time)!The only thing good I can find is calculate insulin.

You cannot use this app with the Freestyle libre 2. It makes this app useless!
Tempo smart app
Too much reading and step to give a dose. One thing if sugar is to high, you can’t see good to read and do steps . Need something easier to get to medicine.
Update not working
The app is in a loop between asking me to upgrade and then looping back to the same page. Help!!
Slow, buggy app, tech is not up to market
I was really excited to switch to this from InPen because it seemed like it had more features and an updated UI. It’s slow, laggy, buggy. When you get into the details the UX is bad on a lot of the app. InPen gives correction/dosage recommendations where this does not. Save yourself the money and headache. Give them a few years to work out the bugs and see what happens from there.

Would be terrific if it worked
This button cost us nearly $200 and seemed like it would be revolutionary. The app no longer saves the two insulins I use, insisting that I enter them as new medications. I tried that five times I a row tonight, to no avail. I wish I had the $200 back. Come on, Lilly. Do better.
The app needs qol improvements
Tempo smart worked the first 2 days i used it but is slow and unresponsive at times. Sometimes I can’t even see when i took insulin last because the app freezes up. Frustrating. Now i can’t see previous doses at all. The app has lots of features that I will never use and lacks a lot of features that I would use regularly. obviously made by someone who does not understand what it’s like to have diabetes.

Works maybe 10% of the time
Most of the time it does not work. For example, does not log a dose at all unless I manually sync; sometimes the manual sync does not work; many times after a sync, the next time I dose, the app will ask me to log in again and of course the dose is not logged; Sometimes after a dose there is an error saying I either changed my login info or tried to login somewhere else, which apparently I did neither; some times it says a shot was taken but dose unknown; and worst case, the app scans my Face ID, flash, then crash. This is an immature product that should not be on market.

Frustrating
It would be an awesome tool if it worked at least half the time. My tempo button is paired and it logged in the beginning but about one month after I started using it, it stopped logging. After that it was just very hit and miss. I got so frustrated I finally stopped using the tempo system. Managing diabetes is hard enough without this frustration.

Disappointed
App is very busy- tons of features, but no real support for the user. Tempo does not provide dosage recommendations for corrections and meals or display active insulin like the InPen does. In my opinion, the app was made with the provider in mind, not the user themselves. Sure, it’s collecting a lot of data, which is useful, but a tool to make life easier? Lilly really misses the mark here.
