What's New in The Asheville App

New in v4.5.1: - Bug fixes

User reviews

No longer works

Displays “sending” when I open the app and I can no longer submit requests at all.

Very effective but tricky to use

There’s a steep learning curve for this App but once you get the hang of it it’s very useful for reporting water leaks, potholes and a host of urban ills. The response time after you submit an issue is very fast. Same say to within 48 hours for repairing potholes and leaks. You cannot get a response that quickly by calling the city directly.

Historically decent, terrible update maintenance

This app has historically been pretty reliable but a few of the recent updates have complicated its functionality unnecessarily. Most recently, there’s been “required information” features added to the request submission process (for pothole repairs, for example). The problem is that there is nowhere to actually submit that required information and therefore submissions can’t be made 🧠🧠🧠

Good to report potholes

I like being able to report potholes. The city usually comes out and fixes them quickly.

This app is an unacceptable quality in 2022

This app is not good enough for a city the size of Asheville with a budget for software. Photos don’t upload consistently. The iPhone app is buggy and parts of the screen turn gray when scrolling. I could not get a photo to upload using the web version of the app.

Please shop this to a new vendor.
