The app often doesn’t work… makes me rethink buying the gift cards
Easy to use
Insanely easy to use, I got gifted a gift card and it took me less then 3 minitues to get it on to apple wallet after downloading the app. Only really leaving this review because the others don’t do it justice and it deserves more than 3.3

The view card wheel keeps spinning and does nothing
Worst app, intentionally difficult to access
The website and app make it nearly impossible to register a card. The app does not even let you log in without contacting customer service. No reset password option - just asks for a phone number that was not taken when registering the card. Makes zero sense. I’m starting to think these gift cards are truly a scam. These people want to make it as hard as possible for you to redeem. Friends and family are better off giving cash.

Oops: invalid request format
Not off to a good start. I’ve tried to load a number of recently purchased TCN cards, and when I follow the instructions and choose “View Card Information” then get “Oops: invalid request format”. Not much use.

I had a number of gift cards which had an expiry of November 2025, which specifying the exact date of expiry so I assumed it was the end of the month. When I went to use the gift card during November 2025, the app had cancelled my credit. When I called TCN, they were unwilling to help and hung up on me. Do not use this service

If I could leave zero stars I would.
So much work just to use a gift card, what is the point of this app? Surely someone can review the User Flow and minimise the amount of steps needed to just purchase an item

Can’t open it to add to my wallet
Just doesn’t work
Won’t let me log in to add my card to my digital wallet. Keeps telling me my mobile number “can’t be found”. I tried my number and the number of the person who gave me the gift card but app said both numbers “can’t be found”. Absolutely useless.

Even on their website I have a 100 dollar gift card and it says I have a 0 dollar balance but I didn’t spend it on anything. That was on the website. Now the app worst thing you could have done. You go into the app boom error you look at a random card that isn’t yours boom error and you don’t even have a place to put in your own card and pressing on the random card it doesn’t even bring it to the apple wallet. Poor effort and even tried deleting the app and getting it back does the same stuff I mean come on.

Unable to add cards to Apple wallet
Used for years without too much issue, but lately I’m unable to add cards to Apple wallet. I’ve messaged support multiple times and they are of no help.
App doesn’t work
Received a voucher yesterday and wanted to use in store so added it to the app and once in the app all it does is saying is view card information with a loading symbol and it has been doing it for hours

I tried to put my phone number in multiple times and it constantly said it was unavailable in my country and immediately deleted
Buggy
Buggy app. Support always asks to reinstall app which does nothing.
Avoid this product
The card won’t load the “View card information” screen. Reviews online and in the app show others are having the same issue. I contacted support and was advised to log out and back in, but that didn’t resolve the problem. Very disappointing. Next stop, Consumer Affairs.
Phone number formatting bug
I tried to register multiple times, but the app won’t accept my phone number if it starts with 0. It then keeps saying “oops, mobile number not found.” Really frustrating.
Err Notifications
It keeps popping out the notification ‘Oops! Swap EAID is null’. What can I do?
