Do Not Recommend
The Knot was great during the initial planning stages, but I ended up having several issues with my RSVPs, Registry, and the app itself right before my wedding date. When I tried to get help, I got stuck in a loop with their chat bot. I wish I had gone with a different platform.
Needs an update?
When I’m looking at venues and press to go to the next page it continues reloads back to the top of the first page. Maybe it needs an update but the glitch is really unfortunate!

Good website but you can’t send custom messages or digital invites to guests if you wanted to which I think is crazy

Can be better
The app took away the custom messages and emails feature which was the main reason I picked the app. Good for counting purposes but be aware when downloading guest lists, I downloaded mine and it took off 50 people who RSVP’d yes thank God I double checked everything before giving it to my venue. It also sometimes glitches and can take a while to load. Nice app to help keep track of things but would not recommend if you are trying to communicate with guests and having a large wedding like mine (170 people).

I would like to take this time to tell you what an exceptional person Sara is. She was so very helpful and went above and beyond for me. I was trying to get my sister and my niece to have their hair and makeup done for my niece’s wedding on very short notice. Unfortunately Sara was booked but she did everything she could to find another person that could take care of my sister and my niece!! This was very much appreciated by me because I live in a different state. In a world where everything is so fast paced, and nobody wants to take the time to smell the roses much less take time to help anyone. App Crashes
You can barely do anything on the app because it crashes consistently. If you add something to the registry, it crashes. Just use the website. Don’t use the app
Gifting is ridiculous
You can’t actually track gifts on your way to your address. It led to my package going missing. Cherry on top is that customer service is useless.

Not easy to navigate
Lots of great vendors to connect with. However, the functionality and accessibility of this site are not user friendly. For how long The Knot has been around, I would have thought they would have a better system.
Don’t Use
First of all, the app had issues multiple times throughout our engagement (wouldn’t show chat history or messages, etc). Sometimes this would last a couple of days. Second of all, they would ONLY show the same vendors over and over and over again. I went to an alterations person off of their “high award winning recommendation” and was body shamed and called fat by the owner. I wrote the review on the app, and they refused to publish it because I didn’t have the shaming in writing (but in reality it was because they had given her multiple awards and receive payment). Seriously, save yourself the headache.

So frustrating
This app is the glitchiest, most frustrating, non responsive app. I can’t possibly imagine using a more migraine inducing app while trying to plan a wedding.
Needs an update
Needs a big update. It’s slow and hard to edit. Sometimes impossible, needs a big upgrade to stay on top hopefully soon

Vendor notification
I love the knot app, it’s organized well, I only have two complaints that stop me for giving it a full five. I dislike how easily it glitches and freezes up so you can’t easily move onto the next screen or edit things. I also don’t understand why I’m still constantly getting “book your vendors” and “ask for quotes” notifications when it’s clearly listed on my page that I booked my vendors as well as checked off my checklist. The notifications for that is daily and kind of annoying

Terrible
Over complicated in a bunch of nonsense you don’t need, and missing ease or options all of the critical data you do need!!! Go to Zola or Wedding Wire instead. This app is THE WORST.
