I would give zero/negative stars if I could. I have had a Thrive Market membership for a couple of years, and I do not recommend them for multiple reasons. First, the pricing and sales are not great, not even close to how they market your savings. I started price shopping, and very few items actually generated a savings. This is even taking into consideration the Thrive Cash you can earn when ordering multiples; it’s just not worth it. Shop around. Additionally, the Thrive cash is only valid for 30 days. If you need to skip an order month, you also lose your Thrive Cash. We had several order issues where TC was offered, but because I pushed back or skipped an order that month, I also lost the credit from customer service. This is a big deal imo. Order issues are out of hand. We had so. Many damaged items due to packing or mishandling of the shipment. Definitely do not order cold and frozen items! They say they ship on specific days and times to prevent spoilage, but the tracking details show this to be false. Cold food orders being packed, shipped, and held over the weekend have no shot of reaching you without spoilage. I gave up on frozen orders after they were soup. The claims about adequate ice packs are also a joke. I had ONE ice pack in a giant box, and my items were still melted, despite it being winter. Lastly, when you finally decide you are done being a member, unless you live in the state of CA, you can’t self cancel. You must talk to customer service via chat or phone. At this point you are subjected to a scripted harassment where the entire effort is to get you to change your mind and retain your membership. I repeatedly respectfully asked for my membership to be canceled, but they came back at least three different times with offers trying to get me to stay and prolonging my time and effort to reach the desired goal. I screen recorded the entire chat, so I have the receipts!
