It’s not working for me yet.
I don’t know if I can use this app to catch up on my studies. My 4 classes are meet weekly and range from 1 hour to 4 hours in length each class day. One class is 1 hour per week. One is 90 minutes per week.
One class is 2-6 hours per week. One class is 4-9 hours per week.
So, 14-17 hours of recorded Zoom meetings to watch each week.

I thought this would help me prioritize and be helpful but it doesnt seem much more than a to do list on the fridge. Am i missing something?

I didn’t authorize payment and yet they billed me. Don’t even look at the app.
They steal your money
DO NOT sign up for this app. I signed up for a low-cost month but they snuck a high-cost coaching charge in, said they’d reimburse me repeatedly and didn’t. For an app I couldn’t even get to work (it kept not recognising my email) I ended up paying $134. I filed a complaint with PayPal which refused my complaint because I couldn’t provide a billing agreement!

Beware of this plan. Extremely high monthly payment
I thought I was paying a one time fee for this app. Then they charged me $143.72 monthly!

This company just charged me $134.33 without prior notice. Unsure what this charge covers. I don’t use this app and they have a shady refund policy. First telling me it is not within a 11 days window of purchase even though payment is only pending, they won’t refund. Now as goodwill gesture offering me 25% refund.

Just inconvenient enough to keep me off my socials
As a millennial mom to 4 kids now, social media scrolling is my escape. It’s my emotional regulation and it’s my “me time.” I was spending easily to 6 to 7hrs a day on my phone and since getting this Refract app, it’s down to 4 hrs a day and I expect the trend to keep dropping. I’ve only had the app for 5 days so we will see, but the dopamine hit for checking off my daily mommy to do list- it’s real nice 👌

Great for mindful use of apps
I love that this app helps me pause for a minute before accessing social media. So I can still use it, but I don’t unconsciously open the app and start scrolling.
Ploy to get your money
Getting billed every month for something I don’t use. DO NOT sign up for this app. $63 monthly for something not used is robbery, and they make it difficult to cancel.

Do not get scammed! I had over $450 in charges by this app this month. We are working through our credit card to block but this is a scam!!
Good, but needs better context memory
I think this app is very helpful in making me more intentional about my phone use and prioritizing tasks for my day. However, it needs better context memory. Sometimes it asks me to reflect on the same question several times a day. If I don’t give a thoughtful answer each time it makes me retry, but if I tell it to come up with a new question it won’t do it. It’s a frustrating double standard. I’m hopeful that wit further development it will be even more useful to me.

The real deal
I’ve been using planning apps and templates for two decades and this one is far above anything I’ve used before. It’s minimal interface and intelligent design cuts through the BS and delivers exactly what you need to not just set high impact goals but also prioritise the actions needed to achieve them. I bought the pro version within a day of installing the app - thankfully a one time purchase instead of the money making yearly and monthly payments - and continue to enjoy its reliable and intuitive functionality. Kudos to the developers - you’ve delivered an outstanding product!

Says it’s good for seniors, but the type is so small I can’t read it.
Deleted it before I could even get through 3 pages to set it up. Trying to read 4 point text on an iPad was painful and frustrating.
Can’t access
I can’t get past the page where you check what you would like to change. Can’t get to settings or anything… did not agree to monthly charges but I’m being billed for something that doesn’t work.

I have just started and I don’t understand anything. I am going to see if I can cancel it and get a refund. Let’s see if they are good in their advertising!
Was great but now No longer able to plan my day tasks
This started of a fantastic app. It really helped. However it does not seem to recognise my list of task when I plan my day and keeps telling me to take the off because there are no recognised tasks. It suggests numbering them, which I have. Same result. It suggests putting a - before a task. I have same result. It suggests numbering starting on a new line, which you are unable to complete as a carriage return doesn’t take you to a new line, just the next prompt. Really frustrating and useless to use now otherwise would have given it 5 stars when it was working

Total Scam - Avoid, $65 a month for a “free” app!
The Refract app says it is “totally free while we develop it, but we’ll give you lifetime access for a single payment of $9.99!” However, I’m getting billed $65 a MONTH for this “service” from “Todayistheday,” but there is no obvious way to unsubscribe. I can’t log in on the web site, no “Cancel” button I can find on the app, it doesn’t show up as a subscription on Apple subscriptions, and the only phone # we can find is an AI agent that never connects you to a real person.
