Doesn't work
Stopped working after recent update. Opens and remains on landing page. Doesn't show any news. Seems to be blocked for outside India IPs. Indians based out of India love reading TOI but your app developers don't seem to respect that and have blocked it for outside UK especially UK

Too much pop up ads !!
Other than the annoying ads popping up too frequently , the journalists repeats the same thing again and agin like a loop in the news . It seems they are filling up blank space

Never worked as expected
Worst news application I have seen compare to other applications in the market. This forced me to switch to Inshorts/cnn/fox/newsbreak. One can easily see that this application is being designed, architected by amateur..

App is becoming more of an Ad agency rather than a news agency. Every page, every click gets you multiple Ads. This is on top of many news that are for premium subscribers. News agencies now wants to get money out of everything. Gone are the days where news agencies had obligations to reach public with actual news.

Paying for App but has reduced functionality
The app and content are great, and I’m happy to continue being a paid subscriber- but a big let down is that it does not work in landscape mode on the iPad
App causes OS crashes
Since last 2 updates, this app crashes my iPhone frequently. Needs to be fixed.

New update is just ads, it takes 3-4 clicks before seeing the first news.
Tough to use the app
Ads pop up a lot. Ads with white background and white x mark to close…impossible to see. Frustrating experience
Annoying Amazon Ads
So many annoying amazon ads that will open even while scrolling. So annoying that I deleted TOI app and switched to another better app. Horrible user experience. Take note, TOI team.

Decent Ux poor content
Buggy app. Freezes when offensive remarks are flagged for review.
TOI doesn’t react to offensive and derogatory content no matter how many times you report or flag content. Can’t believe that India’s premier newspaper org has degenerated to this!!
TOI app has become a tabloid version. Nonsense videos are shared under Top Videos which you can’t event remove.

This app is so lost.Needs new UI/UX Designers ASAP
Used to be a great app with valid news articles. Now it can’t decide whether it wants to be a serious news app or a tabloid. Way too much content ,most of it inconsequential or downright frivolous
