I just bought the bZ4X XLE two days ago. The vehicle is completely amazing. I have never liked driving until now. In the past I would always take the express way to get to my destination, now I take the long route so I can stay behind the wheel as long as possible. Lol
Not working
Doesn’t work while using a VPN. When the VPN is off, connection is spotty. When there is a connection the app rarely updates. This app needs a lot of work. Not ready for prime time. Toyota could do better. There are very large company with A large customer base.

Sometimes I can see both of my cars in the app and then for some unknown reason it decides if I am looking at it the other person can no longer access it. App might be ok, UI is terrible but to not be able to access all of my vehicles stinks. Won’t pay for any features after 1 year trial if this keeps up

App Glitchy
The car app notified me that my trunk and doors were unlocked, so I rushed to the parking lot to check my vehicle. The car was fine, but the app continued to show the trunk and doors as unlocked.
I also tried locking the vehicle through the app, but it still showed as unlocked afterward. This appears to be an issue or bug with the app’s vehicle status updates. Please look into this, as inaccurate security notifications can be concerning and cause unnecessary worry.

This app helps me in many ways. I can lock and unlock my car with my app, and check on car maintenance.

This app is great! I am truly enjoying all the functions and info it provides for me, whether I’m close or away from my truck I can keep an eye out from anywhere!
This app is so buggy I cant ever actually use it.
Do not count on this app for anything. The key constantly disappears, I cant login most of the time, UI isn’t great. Nothing that good to report on this app other than it exists. But Toyota relies on it even when it does not work. I can’t login currently and there is no update, this has happened on and off since buying a car 8 months ago. The charging routing with Apple Maps bug out most of the time as well. I’ve gone to dealerships with questions and the only answer I got was that I need to reach out to Apple. I would avoid buying a Toyota if this app is the selling point.

I love my new car and the new features. Today was my first time learning how to start the car
Backup camera locked on
The backup camera did not turn off. I cannot play the radio. The CarPlay on my phone allowed the doors to lock. I turned the car off but the camera remained on. I cannot see the screen and don’t know if other computer functions are safe.
Just fire the dev team and start over
This app never gets better. It still won’t stay logged in !!Still no siri start commands allowed unless the phone is unlocked and app re-logged in. No climate/defrost controls. Action buttons are small and painfully slow to respond.
