bad, connectivity is awful & services rarely work
just what i said. the app/software is bad. worst thing i noticed recently was entering a text field, it legit would not respond no matter what i tried. also, trying to connect to their servers takes forever. half the time i’m waiting for the app to respond and i have to close it. services rarely work. do better

My app is loaded on my phone and works great but I am sick of having to login every time , fix the app so it remember who I am

Connectivity issues
Constantly asks me to sign in. I suppose it wouldn’t be an issue with Face ID set up but then it asks me to sign in manually. For an app that I need to use more times than not in a hurry, it is really frustrating to not have a plug and play experience.
The price to pay for features is one thing, the paid features being inaccessible is another and highly frustrating. It leaves me to wonder what the incentive is to improve.

The app freezes a lot. It is also hard to navigate.
Expensive but mostly worth it
It is mostly worth it, especially in the winter months. However, $85 a year is a bit ridiculous. Especially if you wish to have the updated maps and want to pay an additional $85. I mean common. Talk about nickle and diming. My husband has a GMC and can do all of the same things on the GMC app, that the Toyota app can do, for FREE! Maybe I’ll be a GMC girl next time. However, the app works well which is why I rated it higher.

Does not consistently work. Have to reload it multiple times to get it to start the car. Spend more time trying to get it to lock car or start it. Can walk out to the car and do it manually by the time the app works

Clunky but convenient
First the good - love the ability to remote start the car. Helps in hot and cold days. Check the doors and close the windows all good.
The not so good- clunky with security. Always asks me to login even if I enabled Face ID. Not a full remote. So very little functionality. Registering is a pain. Overall Toyota can do better. After all they are known for quality. Just need to bring that into their software.

Driving experience
The car has all these beautiful safety features that we love and it has a smooth ride and sharp braking system.Beautiful leather seats, we love it and you can even fold all the back seats. Just great for our new driver in the house.
