Dreadful change to DHL loosing customers!!
I have used Tradera happily for nearly a decade but for some reason they have decided to switch to DHL postage outside the EU. This makes purchasing now prohibitively expensive. Most of the time the shipping now costs more than the item purchased. DHL also routinely open, unpack and inspect all items so fragile things are at risk! They have opened every package I have received since the change. PostNord was reliable and reasonably priced, there was no problem it didn’t need fixing. I will purchase elsewhere from now on! I’m sure I’m not the only customer put off by this stupid change! If it was an option alongside regular post, that would be fine but it now seems it’s exclusive, which prices Tradera out of the market entirely. Even Auctionet who use FedEx are better because it’s cheaper and they don’t open your parcel!!

Definitely do not sell with this. Customer service is awful.

Fehlender markt für die EU
Wir deutschen würden die app gerne verwenden aber es gibt einfach niemand der in deutschland Baden-württem Berg sich befindet und somit unbrauchbar
Dauert alles ewig
Ich warte seit Wochen darauf daß mein Geld zur Verfügung steht. Das Paket ist schon beim Kunden angekommen. Als ich Tradera gefragt hab meinten die "in paar tagen" wird das freigegeben. Das dauert alles viel zu lang.

Good app, but buyer protection on the platform is weak
The app works well, but buyer protection is very limited for private sales.
I purchased an item listed as “defective” that was actually previously opened, missing components, and damaged in ways not shown in the seller’s photos.
Despite submitting clear evidence, Tradera dismissed the case because the item was marked as defective.
Users should be aware that undisclosed manipulation is not covered under Tradera’s protection.

Non-functional customer support
Unable to create an account with no explanation why. No functioning customer support to resolve - they have a chat function but it doesn’t work (error on trying to load it on multiple different devices) and no other avenue of contacting them. First time in a long time I haven’t been able to simply register for an app/service.

Foreigner issue
So if someone not from EU but they have legit residence permit, it’s not acknowledged; home country Passport is also not acknowledged although it’s listed in the list; if you have EU drivers license, that’s ok somehow .

Can No Longer See How Many Hearts A Listing Has
They removed the ability to be able to see how many people have hearted an object or listing. This makes it difficult to know just how much an item is recognized and relevant to others at the moment and for how long will remain on the app until it is sold.
I think that's a dumb implementation. You want people to see how many others are interested in an item, don't you? That keeps people's interest in said item at an all time high - lesser for items without as many saves and more for items with higher numbers.
People like to save things that are on high demand - even if they don't particularly want or need it normally.
Bring back the numbers.

From USA. I am unable to message seller with my address for shipping. The only way is to put it in the review. It states I must verify at Tradera, but there is no link to do this and I am unable to find it on Tradera. com. This makes it very difficult. Thanks Jim

Fix slow or never fixed, never! Emailed many times complained the problem, got same answers and never solved the problem
Excellent sales platform
A great user interface, flexible language choice and good range of sales tools. Personally, I would like to sell multiple quantities in single auctions and different types under one auction. Otherwise very pleased with the product and service!

Newest update broke the app on my iPhone 13 Mini iOS 15.0. Had to revert to the previous version, please fix! Edit 29/9: Still not launching, last working version 3.102. Edit 1/10: Update 3.113.1 finally fixed the startup crash for me! Edit 3/10: Update 3.113.2 now broke the app and UI is all messed up (no crash though). Edit: 7/10: 3.114 finally fixed the crashes and UI-issues. Edit: 8/10: New revision/hotfix for 3.114 broke the app UI again...this is getting annoying. EDIT 12/10: New version 3.115 works on first launch but exiting the app and relaunching it and it's still back to the broken UI/app.
