Great value and a very useful app
For the price, Travelodge is one of the best options when travelling around the UK. The app is simple and convenient, booking is quick, and the rooms are usually clean and comfortable.
There are just a few things I would improve. The most useful would be showing whether each hotel has parking, whether it is free or paid, and the price per night directly in the search results. This would make choosing a hotel much easier for people travelling by car.

Not very flexible
Unable to modify flexible booking at the St Albans hotel, or choose a room. My booking are business booking if that makes a difference.
Tried to book!
Tried to book would not connect to site original price £120 started again with same details minutes later and price increased to £163? Why!!!!

No idea why this app has high review scores. It’s just a website wrapper. No different than going to their website and logging it.

I don't normally leave reviews but this app is just dreadful - a skinned web browser with minimal fonts and awful UI.

Terribly clunky website
Won’t let you add a room from the search screen, often get to check out and it has forgotten the 2nd room. Check the date because if you go back to search it reverts to the day after today. Apple Pay doesn’t work.

Problem with iPhone app
Can never get my bookings to show in the app on my iPhone 17 pro max using the latest iOS. Yet the bookings both show up on the app on my wife’s Samsung phone.

Jeez. Bad navigation. Trying to locate a booking is like some kind of sick game. Name….booking number…..and name of hotel that you need to guess how they list it.
This app will actually stop me ever staying with them again and I’ve just cancelled my future booking because of it.

Like many iPhone apps, updates make things progressively worse, never better. The Travelodge app constantly asks for sign in, and when booking a room it doesn’t remember my sign in details.
The tabs at the bottom of the home page are also missing now…
