The best thing that ever happened to my WFH routine.

I love this app and the treadly, keep improving the experience!! This is the start of a huge trend I can feel it. Even my coworkers are looking into it, I’ve sent the treadly website link so many times and now I know a couple people who now have their own!

App is good

My Treadly seems to connect really well with the app. However, recently when I tried to reset the oil warning on my Treadly through the app, it just doesn’t work.
I’ve tried hard resetting the treadmill. I’ve also tried pressing the Stop button for 5 seconds. The app says it’s reset, but the step count doesn’t change 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pretty disappointed

Loved the idea of being able to use my phone as a remote and tracking my progress throughout the day. Sadly I haven’t been able to do either of those things very consistently. The Bluetooth connection is horrible and disconnects any time you leave the app (even without closing it ) and you can forget about it tracking steps, calories lost or distance traveled. These functionalities simply do not work. Pretty useless app unfortunately.

Does not accurately show progress.

The app does not always show the workout I just finished. It may show zero steps even after I verify the app and Treadly are online and connected. It is linked to my iPhone health app but it does not load that information unless I reboot my phone a few times. At the very least the app should accurately record the workout I just completed on the Treadly

Get your act together

This company wants to put on a modern and competent face, but they are not. The app is terrible. It took a whole 37 minute workout and logged it as happening the next day. The challenges make no sense. How are you going to start the challenge in the middle of the day? And then also not update the progress?
Why does the app constantly push me to connect to my wifi within the app, trying to skirt around my iOS settings? I understand it’s to update the actual treadmill’s firmware, but that is not clear and the whole interface to do it is sketchy, to say the least.

Bad Customer Service

I loved the Treadly treadmill when I first purchased it. I was worried about being sedentary during the pandemic and purchased it to walk during the working day. Pros: - Thin frame that fits below my desk - Movable hand rail so it can go below desk - App speed control so I don’t have to use the rail Cons: - App doesn’t synch steps in the challenges - Treadly is making noises after a year and the company only offers repairs at their shop somewhere in the east coast. Meaning, I have to ship the treadmill via mail. At that cost, I might as well buy a new treadmill. - Customer service is not helpful. They have different ways to contact them in the app, but they always tell you to send them an email and the help doesn’t solve the issue. - In app help is also lacking and the developers do not take issues seriously. In short, Treadly needs to hire a user experience design team to look at all aspects of their customer journey to understand the issues users are facing.

I like Treadly, but…

After only a month of use, the step counter is completely off. The counter seems to be missing 40% of my steps. The distance seems accurate but the steps are completely off and by a large margin. At first, the steps were recorded accurately and you could see the uptick in steps as you exercised. However after 1 month, its recording about 4/10 steps. The machine itself is good and does the job. I like the relative portability of it and the built in blue tooth speaker.

Treadly itself good-Bluetooth technology on it horrible

I want to give this a higher rating, but this machine can only be used manually. Plug it in and press the buttons on the handrail. No Bluetooth connection works which means the speaker on it is useless. Would love to hear what it sounds like. I have great internet and my Bluetooth works for connecting to everything I need except this machine. As long as you’re okay recording/calculating your work out results results manually or just relying on your Apple Watch for health info it’s all good.

Piece of crap

With a doubt the worst treadmill I’ve ever used. It’s extremely loud. I wanted to use this as a treadmill under my standing desk but it is way too loud to use while in a meeting. The belt vibrates terribly, making it uncomfortable to walk. Way too expensive for such a poor product. Extremely disappointed. Also, the app is extremely slow.

Steps not in sync

I absolutely love the idea of the treadmill linking to phone and watch app. However the count on my treadmill, phone app and watch are not in sync. Further, it doesn’t connect to the activity with accurate information. Example, my Treadly app says I’ve completed 10,000 steps and my activity on my iPhone will say 3,000 steps. Probably because I’m typing and working, but since they are synced I’d like to see them talk better. Overall love being able to walk and store treadmill.

Worst App Ever!

The speed control never stays connected! Never records my workouts. The speakers are always connected but not the actual speed control. I specifically purchased this so that my workouts would sync to my apps. Very disappointed- would not recommend.

Connecting treadmill to Bluetooth can break it

Absolutely do not do this. Almost had to mail it back once, but luckily I was able to reconnect to the Bluetooth.

Decent update to the app seems to have broken the treadmill again. I cannot reconnect my phone to the treadmill with Bluetooth and i have the same unresponsive treadmill that I had before.

Total disaster.

The worst app

Completely pointless and frustrating, it actually messes up my Health tracking because it is nearly impossible to dependably log my workouts. I should have just bought a cheap treadmill for the complete lack of app usability of this one. So frustrating. Fix the app or stop listing it as a selling feature for your otherwise VERY featureless treadmills! Buyers remorse bigtime.

Pretty good

The app mostly works and doesn’t crash. However, I wish I had the option to start my Treadly with a dedicated remote. I’d love to see Shortcuts integration so I can start the treadmill from an iOS shortcut!

App not synching to Treadmill

Is anyone else having trouble synching the app to the actual treadmill?!?! I’ve tried dozens of times. Why does it keep saying “failed connection” when I’ve done all the steps correctly. I can’t even try the app that I paid more money for! I’m furious! If anyone has any tips to connect the app, that would be great. Thanks

Pairing won’t stay on

So far, I love the Treadly Pro. However, it disconnects from my app every time I turn off the machine, and then I have to go through the pairing again. Do I have to do this EVERYTIME I use the treadmill?

Apple health sync takes how long?

Everything seems to be fine, except for not being able to sync my steps with Apple health.
Granted, I was under the impression the write settings were enabled, but they weren’t . I enabled them after a few sessions occured already, so how long is it supposed to take?

Not designed to help achieve goals

This app doesn’t do the basics very well but for some reason focuses on social media as if anyone wants a social media component to a walking treadmill.

1. Can’t properly sync steps to apple health. I’m walking while I type this and I have done 6,614 steps according to the treadmill and apple health shows 2,208. They have an article ‘why do my stats from Apple Watch not match my stats from treadly?’ That explains that yes, they are different but never actually answer the why question. As far as I can tell they don’t attempt to do that. This is lame. I have a goal of doing 12k steps per day and I don’t only walk on this treadmill. So what, am I supposed to do the math myself? Not cool.

2. Starting and stopping is slow and the speed resets every time. I use this under my standing desk and if I have to hop off for a second it always stops and takes me 30 seconds to get it back where I left off.

Meanwhile I’m seeing rando people suggested to me to be friends with, like come on I do not care about virtual walking friends I just want help lowering the friction to getting steps in while I work without needing to think about configurations.

Love

I know it is a bit pricey but I haven’t missed a work out since I bought it! So easy to set up and take down👌❤️❤️❤️

Does not work

I bought the Treadly 2 instead of the Treadly 1 bc I wanted to be able to walk while I worked. I am unable to do that bc the stupid app does NOT work!!! The app cannot find my network. It tells me it can’t detect it — in my office —where I work — with my laptop, printer, two cell phones, Alexa devices, etc. That is, multiple networked devices. It is clearly an issue with this app. If I can’t get the treadmill to work with the app, I have to use the treadmill with the handlebar “up”, which means that I can’t put it under my desk, and I can’t walk while I work. I can only use this as a basic treadmill. As a basic treadmill, it’s ok, but that’s not why I bought it.

Save yourself some money.
