Best travel app to book hotels, flights, trains, experiences
I love Ctrip. I have been using it for around 14 years. I love everything about it. It makes traveling so much easier.
I could have missed my train in Italy yesterday as the platform wasn’t appearing on the board until 5 min before the train departed. Ctrip had announced the predicted estimated ahead of time, and I was able to be near the place I had to leave from. If it wasn’t for Ctrip I would have missed it.
I get constant updates about my flight status, payment is super easy, I get nice discount for being a diamond member, the customer service has been great and efficient.
I absolutely love this app.
Only a few hotels are not in trip and I do find them in booking.com, but I will always try to use trip to book as I am loyal as their service has just been outstanding in some many years for me.

Trip.com strives to provide the absolute worst possible customer experience. Don’t make the mistake of using this app!

This is absolutely the best App to use for booking hotels. The pricing usually comes in lower than most other travel apps. Excellent! I love it!
Horrible Service.
My experience with Trip.com was incredibly disappointing. My original flight was canceled, and instead of receiving timely assistance, I spent days calling Trip.com and the airline myself while being repeatedly told my case was “being worked on.” I received no meaningful help, no proactive communication, and no viable solution before my trip was effectively ruined.
As a result, I missed my entire vacation to Indonesia and Singapore, lost over $2,100 in flights, hotels, baggage fees, transportation, and non-refundable accommodations, and endured an immense amount of unnecessary stress. I expected a travel agency to help when things went wrong, but instead I was left stranded and forced to handle everything on my own.
I cannot recommend Trip.com based on my experience and sincerely hope they improve how they support customers during travel disruptions.

Automated Customer Service Only (can’t help with you properly)
Had a flight booked for my father and I for a special occasion, however the flight has delayed changed by 24hrs meaning we miss the occasion, I have still decided to go, but my father has decided not to. As we booked the flights as one I cannot cancel his ticket (costing £1,500) as to do I have to also cancel my ticket.
Tried many times on there contact numbers and use the chat however it’s all automated.
Doesn’t help at all and states to speak with Ryanair, which is none refundable, part, the 2nd and 3rd part of the flight with Emirates which is where the problem occurred, but cannot remove my father at all.
So far it’s been stressful enough with flight messed up, finding out a day (24hrs) going be wasted at Dubai and there nobody to
Speak too.

flight was cancelled twice
i booked through this website my flight was delayed twice!! i missed my sisters wedding! and i got zero accommodations ! only to refund my money and no other ways to even try to help me with any way to help me make it to the wedding!

Really complicated app, I’m forever getting annoying pop-ups and messages about drivel. As soon as the trip is done, it’ll be getting deleted.

Apparently Trip.com site doesn’t operate between 11pm to 8am China time
But their site never mentioned this and kept telling me “choose another train to book” .
So I did try on a number of trains, but none of them working.
Meanwhile, they took my money immediately, but the refund will take 5-7 days when the purchase failed.
So now Trip.com holds all my money, is this how they finance their operations?

Quick and easy to use
I've been using Trip for train bookings to a while now and I'm impressed, it's interactive and constantly sends me really good offers and discounts for a range I products. Would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good for booking hotels
Some things are a bit misleading regarding prices and cancellation procedures. I wouldn’t book flights through them. Booking hotels seems to be fine.

After looking for rooms around the $2k more my stay I continually get messages of last chance, get in quick, blah blah blah. When you do click on the latest offer you get offered a room worth $5k+. Stop wasting my time with click bait.

If you make any mistake booking at all this APP doesn’t care about you or your money. They have no power to cancel or modify any hotel bookings. I will look for an alternative APP that actually cares for their users. This is a predatory APP.
Poor functionality
Unless you are spending money the app is poor. The ‘contact the property’ function does not work as I’ve sent several messages to hotels and not received a reply. Its also difficult to unlock reward points. Conversely, when you are paying for something it works a treat. And when you leave a negative review it puts obstacles to you submitting it.
