Really good at what it does just misses one important aspect

I’ve tried them all I think and this is the best for actually making a usable itinerary and tracking finances and bookings - it understands cruises, it understands that you leave a hotel in the morning, you can add all sorts of different categories of things rather than shoehorning an activity into something that doesn’t fit, and you can put it all in the right order / shift things about easily, add expenses in local currency etc without the app interfering or trying to second guess you too much. The forwarding of emails works 75% of the time (the rest it doesn’t understand and you have to enter manually but that’s ok).

I would love to solely use this app for everything but for one massive issue - I’m also forced to use another app to create a decent map of the trip to get an overview for my own satisfaction and that is shareable with family and friends and that will actually show our route (e.g. when on a boat or train it isn’t a crow flies route). It feels the closest to all inclusive travel app and honestly it would be 4.5 stars if it had the map… but that is such a huge part of planning and logging travel for me I can’t go above 3 while it is missing.

Great app… Missing just a couple of additional conveniences

This is a great travel application that is missing just a few additional conveniences to make it awesome and get it to 5 stars. Love the UI and aesthetics. Developers- While the “Note” function is somewhat useful for brief notes, it would be so much better to be able to incorporate the integration of Apple notes versus a text based note field that doesn’t really offer any export or integration abilities. Many Apple users rely on Apple notes for additional trip details and have the ability to add a link to an Apple note for individual activities as well as as the overall trip details would be incredible. Next summer in terms of receipts, is it possible to upload either a file or image as a receipt versus just one format type? Regarding the “Latest Added” section, can you add the ability to scroll that section? Only a few of the latest items in this section are displayed-it makes that section far less useful. Last, with many of us sharing our trip information with other applications, can you please add the ability to export all the individual trip information to a spreadsheet? Thank you again for a great app. These few items would make it even better!

Good for itinerary, confusing graphics

It is one of the good app to have for planning and following itineraries. I do not think it live up to the hype of apple like graphics. It seems like stuck between trip it and beautiful apple interfaces in other apps.

Thanks for your honest feedback, we're always happy to hear more detailed feedback about the UI - we've worked hard to try and make it clear for a wide range of users, but we know everyone has different tastes. Please do send constructive feedback to support@tripsy.app and I'll make sure our designer sees it for consideration.

Lacking Flight data

Doesn’t populate gate or terminal data, delays, or baggage claim. Even on premium. Thought it was as just a single flight. But it’s reoccurring.

$7.99 to see all the features

You’ll need to pay for a subscription to try all of the features. Only two options were prominently made available to me in the App when I opened it, one month at $7.99 or one year. There was no free trial period for me, I was immediately charged $7.99, even after immediately ending the subscription within an hour of signing up. Unfortunately, after an hour of checking out the app, it won’t work for me. The shady subscription service is enough to keep me from using this service. But hey, the company did get $8. Maybe that’s their business plan.

Great Tool

This is a great tool for keeping track of travel itineraries and sharing documents among all the travelers. The MCP is incredibly useful and I love using Codex with Tripsy.

App unusable

I paid for 1 month as I am traveling in Europe. The app is not able to detect my location. If I try to plan an activity it places me in previous locations hundreds of Km away from my current location. 100% unusable. Really nice interface but it has so many bugs it would be tedious for me to write all of them. Search is not reliable, location doesn’t work. Really disappointing since it looks good but functions poorly. Forwarding emails produces double entries, etc.

Indispensável

Após usar outros aplicativos do gênero, a maioria das vezes mais caros, achei o Tripsy o ideal.

Thank you for your kind words!

Not intuitiv and Problems adding personal events

Imagine you wanna add a personal appointment without having a specific location. Well, that’s impossible with this app. You can’t create personal events or blockers. It is also not capable of having two manually added stays at the same location on two different dates per stay. And it is not intuitive at all.
This app doesn’t work for my itineraries and it was just another waste of time.

Amazing support

Really helpful app if you don’t have your own preferred way of organizing travel details. I have found it very useful.

The thing that stands out it how amazingly responsive the support team.

Useful and beautiful

Tripsy is a delight to use. Simple on the surface, yet remarkably sophisticated underneath. My favourite type of App😀

Won’t fwd emails!

Glitchy. Customer service unable to solve problems. If you can’t forward emails, the main draw is gone!

A brilliant travel app with a focus on privacy

My mate Claude(.ai) suggested Tripsy when I went in search of a travel management app that doesn’t sell or exploit my data, and I’ve been delighted with ‘his’ recommendation.

I can forward all my booking confirmations by email directly to the platform and it (mostly) builds the itinerary for me.

All the details are exposed in a very friendly manner, and I LOVE that family members (etc) not travelling with me can follow along at home on a web link that suppresses unnecessary specifics like booking references and expenses.

The online help documentation is comprehensive, *accurate* down to the clicks walking you through various processes, and the support team is responsive to and welcoming of queries and bug reports.

I’ve not been this happy with an app in some time!

Happily paying for an annual subscription and spreading the word.

Thank you so much, Greig, it's been a genuine pleasure talking with you over the last few weeks and we genuinely appreciate the thoughtful feedback, and you gracious review.

Best itinerary planner ever!

I’m going to Europe for 4 months and boy do I have a lot of reservations. This app does everything. It’s organized all my reservations in a calendar, provides weather details, time change, you can merge trips, I can add my family members. It’s so easy to navigate and has been sooo soo helpful so far. I’ll update back after my trip. My favorite feature has been that the app can take your emails that you forward to it and add in all the information as well as pull up the email (super helpful for confirmation emails that you need upon check in).

Great for Travelers

Now with Claude its amazing

Fantastic travel app

Great app, always rolling out great new features. It’s the foundation of my travel 😀

Response from developer

Really great to hear that, thank you so much for your kind words.

Doesn’t quite do it for me

I keep coming across this app, forgetting I’ve tried it before (my age probably!) and trying it again. All sounds so simple. But I’m flying from the UK to Spain with one airline, and back to the UK with another. So Tripsy thinks I’m having a holiday in Madrid, and then another one in Manchester. Nope. Manchester isn’t quite ‘home’ (I’m about 40 mins away), but I’m not taking a ‘trip’ there; I’m flying back to drive home. So for now, I think I’ll stick to my usual rather random collection of filed emails, notes, and calendar entries. It’s free, and I can usually just about figure out what I’m doing.
But I did get a very helpful response from the developers. It’s obviously a popular app, so it’s probably more down to me getting set in my ways…

Excellent Service

Once in a while, you come across an app that's really great, this one is really great. But Tripsy goes one step further and has amazing support. Within a very short time of me submitting a support ticket for a parsing issue for a flight I was taking, I got a reply and that explained the issue and that they would be working to resolve the issue in short order, and they absolutely did, great job. Highly recommended app for anybody that travels.

Thank you so much, we've really worked hard to make sure we can respond to everyone and we'll always try to resolve issues. You've honestly made our day!

Phenomenal!

Tripsy has become an invaluable travel companion. I had used TripIt for over ten years but it’s UI was getting stale and I was looking for an iOS native solution which makes the most of Apple’s ecosystem - Tripsy looked like it did everything I needed… and does it ever!

It’s so good I bought a lifetime subscription. I have been so very impressed with the speed & considered replies to any feedback suggestions or support requests from the small Tripsy team.

I hope Tripsy’s future is solid for years to come! Keep up the great work! 🤩
