Easy to use
App is straightforward and I love the new sound options you can pick for a session. It’s nice that you can save your own customized session so they are easy to go back to. Best way to start and end my day!

The new app is much better. I love being able to set my favorites. Makes the usage much easier and quicker.
Problem after update
After the software update, I get an error when I try to log in. I am guessing that maybe they changed the rules about what makes a valid password. Or maybe because I did not have a chance to unpair my device, the thing is bricked. Disappointing. Maybe someone from the company will contact me to provide tech support.

Latest update complicated a simple tool
The original app was fast and simple to use. This latest update added no meaningful functionality while complicating the app. It takes longer to use with more steps involved. Have to scroll around things that I’d like to delete.
I can’t log in after being updating this app.
I’ve been using this app for one year, but after updating this app yesterday, I no longer log in this app even though I changed the password.
Buggy
App constantly requires signing back in. Update requires registration as new!
Need more updates
App is ok, but basic. Miss simple things like making sure that the week calendar uses your system settings instead of a fixed calendar. Better integration with apple health would be beneficial. Ability to start from a default setting would be nice. Also ability to share the device with another user.

5 Stars for Product 3 for App UI
If you could add a field to make notes, that'd be super great. I have such severe ptsd my heart stopped from adrenaline overload 11 times. I hyper metabolize all the medications that'd help. I spent thousands on stellate ganglion nerve blocks. This? SO MUCH BETTER! I'd have paid 10x for it 10 years ago. The life I could have still had 😅

BAD design
Why do I need a username and password just to use the expensive device I purchased? Further WHY can’t I use MY device offline?
Interface needs help
App developers need to create an option to start a new session at the same intensity level as the previous session. And/or allow users to input intensity setting BEFORE the timer starts. It's ridiculous user design to try to find the vagus nerve with one hand while modulating intensity on the app with the other, after the device has already started counting down a very short 2 minute window. While lying down. Causes a lot of stress, which the device is supposed to be helping!!
At the very least use a haptic feature, like volume buttons on the phone, to adjust intensity.

Good product, terrible app
This app is the fatal flaw in this product. Disconnects constantly, and simply should not be required for the functioning of a device that could work simply with buttons. Outrageously planned for obsolescence. For a wellness device this has lower reliability than almost any other device on the market, because of this app.

why is this app a thing
there is zero reason for this horrible app to exist. why does the device need it to function?
App Broken
The app freezes when trying to save a session. I’ve tried unpairing and repairing the device. There’s a bug and the customer support is nonexistent. I expect better for such an expensive device!

Truvaga provides personal, prompt service. They followed through on every commitment!
Total Trash
Truvaga forced me to upgrade the app and now it freezes after every session/treatment. Somehow made a terrible app worse. There are lots of VNS out there; get a different brand. Not worth the headache.
App sucks, device works
My sleep has been excellent ever since using the Truvaga Plus, but the app absolutely sucks. I have to reopen it, restart my phone, disconnect and connect to Bluetooth multiple times on any given use. Why is it we are paying $500, and they can’t make a better app to go with it? In my opinion, we shouldn’t need an app to use a device like this. It would be so much easier with just an on/off switch and a couple of settings on the device.

App now locks up
Prior to the forced update, the app was working fine. Now after every session, it locks up. It doesn’t matter if I select a mood, or if I choose “skip” - it says “loading” and becomes stuck.
I’ve also always hated the lack of a dark mode, and there’s no way to force it by inverting colors in accessibility settings - the app ignores it.

The most buggy app I've ever used
Virtually every time I try to use the device, it fails to connect. And when it finally does connect, the connection drops throughout the stimulation session.
