While using the app sending videos is like gambling 1/100 times you’ll win better off using messenger. App doesn’t send videos half the time let alone even upload them. Has to be the worst app I’ve ever used by far not to mention makes you login in every time you use it I would give 0 stars if I could

Not a suitable app for professional use
The app is incredibly “buggy” and many features are just a pain to use. When ever I try using this app it just kills my workflow and diminishes my efficiency. If you have the option to find or use a different app, please do. Not worth it for a company worth 5mil
Apple IOS 16 bugs
Fresh App with the new Apple IOS 16 update but I’d prefer to have the old one back. The app no longer keeps the phone awake while the recording is paused. Once the phone goes to sleep the video is lost. Had to change my phone setting so that the phone never goes to sleep. That works to avoid losing the recording but problematic for functionality reasons outside of using Tru Video. Also zooming in and out while recording is no longer possible. That capability was very useful and should be re-implemented.

Needs a lot of work.
Takes a lot more time for flat rate techs. Although it has helped sell bigger job due to visual proof, the App constantly crashes and causes us to have to repeat all the steps during a simple oil change. Freezes and closes the app, or the phone goes dark when transitioning to other parts of the vehicle and deletes the video. We don’t get paid to make videos, we get paid to work on cars.

Inconsistent updates
It seems like every once in a while after an update they just seem to remove features without warning. Stop doing that it’s annoying and hurts productivity.
Etc they removed the zoom feature and when you pause a recording you can exit the app and resume later, very useful but they decide to remove it. Just stop updating at app if it mean removing stuff. 🤷🏼♂️

with the recent update, it does seem like the app processes videos and uploads faster. overall a faster feel, but it came with a bunch of annoying bugs. first off, flipping the camera while taking a video is bugged. if you don’t change the orientation of the phone after you flip the camera, it’s record everything upside down. if you even leave your phone locked for more than a minute you have to fully restart your video. absolutely awful if you’re someone who has to pause a lot as your transition through your work. if you don’t want to to completely delete all your progress you have to leave your phone unlocked the whole time, on the truvideo app. you can’t access other apps because it’ll just delete all your process if you stay off truvideo for more than a minute. what a joke

i’m really enjoying this app for editing videos! is there any way that i can merge different clips together? i have a clip of music, then a beat drop, and then back to the music. Is there any way i can merge them together without having that pause in between them? thank you!!
