Worst

The worst it’s lagging with mine I tried changing the pump and tried changing the cgm but it was not working properly so pls fix this problem

Fundamentally flawed approach to insulin delivery

The t:simulator does what is sets out to do: replicate the Tandem t:slim insulin pump. The problem is that the pump’s algorithm is flawed. It assumes that basal insulin delivery is always required and perfectly matched to the body’s needs. Of course rates can be infinitely changed throughout the day and from day to day. The problem is that diabetes is not a constant. It has patterns, but varies from day to day. The pump’s algorithm assumes that the programmed basal rate.is always required and is therefore ignored when calculating the insulin on board. i.e. the active insulin in the body is ignored, even though a school boy could see that the amount of remaining active insulin is critical when determining the next food bolus. This results in completely unnecessary glucose highs and lows, yet the insulin on board information could easily be displayed. Tandem needs to pay attention to the experts by experience who could very easily guide them to make simple life changing improvements to their technology. But there is no way of feeding back customers’ dissatisfaction with their product. They are simply interested in selling their substandard product.

Is it available in Canada

Why tell all the diabetes that you can bolus from your phone if it’s not available in Canada???

Pump app

A simulator app to get familiar with the t:slim pump is great, but what everyone really wants is the app to control and manage the pump.

Don’t care

Where is the tandem app for Canada, if u don’t want to bring it here, fine at least tell us, and if that’s case, I want my money back so I can go to your competitors

Needs updating

Great app but needs to represent the current software capabilities so it is more useful for trainings.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback and review! We are always looking for ways to improve the app and will be sure to log your comments for review by our App Developers.

T-Connect app

Hello, I already work with the Tandem pump and was wondering when the T-Connect app will be available for Belgium/Europe? Greetings Glenn

Dear tandem

I think it should have all the beep noises cause it tells the owner what noise it makes when you bolus or when it’s out of insulin and you need to fill the cartrige

Response from developer

Thank you for sharing this with us. We will be sure to document your suggestion here with the appropriate team members for consideration.

Usless

I’m more than a year into my diabetes unless you make a feature like the practice that is actually your pump I’m only giving 5 stars so everyone will look at it

Response from developer

We're always looking for ways to improve, so please feel free to share any feedback or suggestions you have for us directly at TandemCares@TandemDiabetes.com and we will be able to assist further.

App

Endlich bitte eine funktionierende App bringen und keine Simulation

Love it

I don’t know what to say it is amazing

Good addition but could be improved!

I like being able to see what my pump is doing without digging it out. One problem is it doesn’t update as often with out me doing it. The app is set to update in the background.
It would be great if you could blouses from the app.
If these two issues were solved I would give it a solid five.

Response from developer

Thank you for reaching out and sharing this feedback with us. We are always looking for ways to improve, so we will be sure to pass this along to our App Developers.

Just OK

The app is ok but my main complaint is that it shows mmol/l with no option to change to mg/dl . I am in a country that uses mg/dl and I do not want to have to calculate what my numbers would be in mmol/l . In response to the reply from the developer. This is for the Tsimulator. If it were for the Tconnect I would have reviewed the Tconnect

Response from developer

Hi Zina. Thank you for this information. Can you please send these details to us at TandemCares@TandemDiabetes.com so that we can help take a look into this for you?

Was soll das?

App kann nicht interaktiv bedient werden, dass ist keine Simulation.

Schlechte Funktion

Nur mäßig funktionierende App mit IPhone bzw. IPad IOS.
System hakt immer wieder.

T:simulator app & pump review

This app is absolutely useless. The actual tandem x2 slim pump (w/ basal IQ) is an amazing pump for T1 diabetics and with dexcom!
Tandem has YouTube videos that are much more versatile in understanding this pump however I strongly recommend training with a diabetic educator (either from your clinic or via tandem team).

Canadian release

I was told at the beginning of 2020 that the companion app would be released in Canada ‘soon’. It’s been a year and still no new news.

Unable to open once downloaded

This app won’t open once downloaded on a iphone11 ?

Could be good

I really wish that tandem would release the Bluetooth so that you can control the insulin pump via Bluetooth on your phone, much like this app shows you how to control the pump it would be ideal for those who are blind or visually impaired to be able to control the actual pump via Bluetooth so that they too could use a insulin pump with screen reader technology.

Not what I expected.

This app shows you what the pump would look like, but does not give you a realistic experience with it at all. You can’t actually simulate doing anything.

Response from developer

We appreciate this feedback. Please note, this app is meant to allow the user to try out our pump interface on their mobile device. You should be able to experiment with pump settings, create personal profiles, or do some practice bolusing at meals. If you are having trouble with this, please be sure to let us know at (877) 801-6901, Option 1, then Option 2. Thank you!
