Useless
Have had a twin eagle grill for three years. The app barely connected when new. Will not connect at all now . For the most expensive pellet grill on the market, I did and would expect the software to actually work
New App is Horrible
The new app is terrible, the old one was basic and not great, but the new one is way worse.
Going to buy a Coyote pellet grill now
I’ve had my TE pellet grill for 4y and this app has never been updated once in that time. All sorts of buggy connection issues that should NOT be there for a $9k grill. Simply ridiculous. I’m buying a pellet grill for my cabin and will be giving Coyote a try instead of TE. Third of the price and way better reviews.

Same as others. Worked first time. Now cannot login. Reset password but never got email. Great smoker -terrible app.
Bait and Switch
We have owned our Twin Eagles smoker for more than a month and have NEVER been able to use this app due to their log in server being down the entire time. Dometic, what are you doing? I cannot be more disappointed. Would give zero stars if possible.
Don’t buy this $10,000 Grill!
You would think that if you buy a $10,000 pellet grill the app would work. It does not! So frustrating. When is the last time this app received bug fix updates? Unacceptable.

The app doesn’t seem to work anymore. Most expensive grill on the market as manufacturer could care less about making the thing work. Bizarre.

Complete Connectivity Failure Every Use
$9k grill with $1.00 WiFi. I’ve had to connect and reconnect so many times I’ve stopped using the WiFi. One of the reasons I spent this kind of money was to have remote control during long smokes. This unit fails every time. Please train your tech people on what you expect from the “supposed” best grill built in America. You are not living up to even the cheap knock offs when it comes to internet connectivity.

Horrible app
It amazes me that this app has not had any updates in 2 years. It is apparent too!!! Was able to connect to the grill once when it was first installed. Now that I am going to use it, I cannot connect. What a disappointment!!!! The money that was spent on this grill to have a company who doesn’t care to ensure consumers can connect is just sad. Get it together Twin Eagles/Dometic. Traeger and Green Mountain grills have you beat on the wifi control/monitoring front.

Inconsistent
Do not rely on the app during cooking. It has never worked throughout a book process. I’ve had it work once at the start but it always states “connection lost” when no other devices on my network lose connection. The temperature on the app does not match the temperature on the grill display. The time of cook is never correct on the app. Twin eagles was a little too eager to join the technology craze and needs to get some better tech engineering in this product. At this price, I was expecting flawless technology.

Home Wi-Fi does not connect on 2.4ghz
Like the other reviews listed here I agree the app is awful and has a terrible UI. My grill won’t even let me connect to the grill Wi-Finder let alone the home Wi-Fi. Customer service could not troubleshoot.
Shame, big money spent on this grill and I would think Twin Eagles would be at least at par or better than Traeger’s technology.
Hopefully someone is reading these and provides resolution.

Severely disappointed
Paid an arm and a leg for what otherwise seems like a quality pellet smoker. The app won’t even let me sign in, change my password, or connect to my grill locally. Feeling kinda defrauded. I’m not sure I can recommend Twin Eagle’s products based on this experience and given their premium price tag.
Apple might want to look into this app even being allowed on their App Store.

Won’t connect
Used app when I first got the grill - and it was great - but it subsequently disconnected and I haven’t been able to get it to connect since. Have tried everything it seems. Pretty disappointing.

For the amount of money shelled out for their admittedly brilliant grills, perhaps some development time and effort could go into this app. Barely functional, connection is a total crapshoot.
Desperately needs an upgrade!
Many of the screens say 'coming soon' and have for over a year. This is really a beta release, but at least it doesn't crash.
Needs better notifications as well as user settings like how far to let the temp drop (currently 50* F) before shooting the user an alarm/notification. The grill is great but this app is Twin Eagle's weakest piece of this system.
