Horrible Pay
The offers that are sent are absolutely ridiculous. It’s sad to say but doordash is paying better and so is spark. You need to adjust your zones as well as increase the pay to compete with the other gig apps out there. Offers should be paying a minimum of $1 per mile plus tips. Especially for what you charge your customers in fees and delivery services

First few weeks was great but now it’s nothing but low orders. Orders that leave me feeling flabbergasted to think anyone would even take them. 40+ miles for $18 is absurd. So is picking a twelve item order at the store when it’s 11 miles. I truly was excited to join Ubereats but even today which was Labor Day was nothing but low orders under the mileage. And of course yall have the quest to try and manipulate people into taking these orders for only a possible $200. Hoping things change but starting off at $150-$200 a day and going down to $60 is crazy.

Terrible update! Please bring back the old interface. Drivers should be able to access the menu and check their balance/earnings while driving to pick up a passenger. This update is very inconvenient!
New update tanks acceptance rate
The newest update prevents you from going offline when you’re delivering an order. This causes you to be uncontrollably spammed by requests, and rejecting them tanks your acceptance rate.

every time I’ve had an issue with the app, not registering that I’m in a store or product not scanning the person on the line makes it hard to find an alternative method to fix it or provide a good method of fixing it lots of times I’m told after picking up orders that it’s going to need to be returned after because an error on their side it’s also been the case where they’ve told me once that I am able to continue driving to the next location but says I can’t deliver it without the barcode so I’d have to drive it back and when I call for my compensation its cut in half. Both the chat and call assistance were no help in explaining why a nine dollar order was down to five. After already confirming it was a 9.50 order with 2 other call lines. The bots also always take 5 to 10 minutes to help fix the situations leading to a longer wait time on your driver and delaying your account negatively. I’ve also had a situation with the chat ending without fully being helped. There’s also been a significant amount of wrong pins on addresses not only for the store but apartments and homes. As for the maps they take you down a lot of blocked off streets that can turn into 10/15min delays.

My mother was doing a great job just for the app to not make any sense what so ever while navigating and clicking the buttons to “ confirm order” or “pick up”. These can be misinterpreted and then after all that she couldnt even do another order as the app then bugged out completely and did not give her money and is stuck on the first person she uber’d to.

Uber sometimes accepts orders without me tapping accept. Please fix this issue
Pays less than the competitor
I just tried Uber for the first time in the drivers app. They pay way less than the other competitors and also they have something called an acceptance rate which if it’s too low, you get penalized and the pay that you receive is reduced so when they say they don’t force you to do anything, they actually do because they penalize you if you don’t do it, this is forces you to accept the cheaper rides, which aren’t even worthy anybody’s time

I keep trying to set up and upload documents and it keeps locking me out I have called the help center so many times and still keep getting locked out
Unfair deactivation w/o chance to appeal
I was deactivated years ago b/c lady wanted to bring her pet. No indication it was a service animal. She stated I’d never drive for Uber again and Uber obviously agreed. Correct me if I’m wrong…a service animal is quite different from a companion animal, right?!

New update works horrible
The new update doesn’t work well. It does not allow for drivers to make changes on the fly. Seems to be increasingly harder to get help or support. Still haven’t worked out algorithm fixes meaning depend depending on what state you’re using the app in algorithm still assigns extremely high mileage jobs for very little Pay

It’s the worst app ever. It doesn’t work like it should. I uninstalled it then reinstalled and now I can’t get in my account. But needs to do better
