Avoid uber Promote other skip doordash

Avoid uber as much as you can and promote other apps.
Practice like try to close to where other apps shows busy. Avoid uber neutral order where pick others. Deliver as less as you can uber order. Intentionally sit one or two minutes every time when you do uber order.

Fix it please

Hi, can you please add a compass indicator to the map marker so I can see the customer's direction. I arrive at the address, but the map only shows a static dot that doesn't move as I walk, and the map doesn't even rotate automatically. Please add a compass function. I also need it to show the distance to the restaurant when I'm heading out to pick up my order.

Horrible Updates

Updates are never in favor of the driver. Doubt they even ask drivers’ opinions. Newest update there is no easily accessible pause button. UE already floods us with garbage orders. Now when you go to drop off the order you can’t just pause. If you don’t pause (which is harder to get to) and alerts come in while you’re trying to snap the delivery photo you have to start again. If you do pause so you can take the photo, then when you complete the delivery it logs you out. Multi billion dollar company tech with the worst tech. I imagine, like me, drivers will just start to gravitate to other apps and do less UE.

Lots of Bugs

Every time there is a new update it feels as if the app is having more and more issues.
The first bug is when I drop off an order, the map doesn’t update. My icon on the map stays at the place i dropped the order off doesn’t move with me, i have to close and open the app again.

The other bug is when I navigate the app like going to trip history and etc, the bottom drawer where the customer name and etc is freezes. Usually it comes up animated but it doesn’t and i can’t confirm or swipe. I have to close and open the app.

These just be fixed immediately. I was hoping these to be addressed in the bug fixes but it hasn’t been for a while

uber is a scam

they use drivers until they find one minor thing wrong with them and discard them like yesterdays news. how many active drivers out there have moving violations on their records and are still driving?

coffee cup

Uber canceled the coffee cup. What a stupid setting.

Bbb

This app it’s scam rider and drivers to

Needs certain improvements

The app needs a pause button to pause orders as well as easier access to support. The automated chat and or calls isn’t working for quick responses when needed. The communication from uber is almost nonexistent

Recording without consent

As of today delivery-only drivers had their cameras turned on mid-delivery, and uber began recording. There was no notification that this had begun if you weren’t looking for it. Customers at their homes with an expectation of privacy were recorded without consent. Support claimed that there was a toggle to turn off recording; my experience is that the toggle said off, it said recording would be resumed with my next delivery, which is frustrating enough if you have to dig deep in settings every time you accept an order, but it didn’t. The grayed out “preview” button showed my camera still recording, as did the “camera in use” notification spot on my phone. I had to manually cover the camera with post it notes. Finally a note was sent out… reminding drivers that various localities had differing recording regulations and it was on the driver to know those laws (when they didn’t even know they were being recorded?). I support recording uber drives with passengers, because not only is passenger safety paramount, but also recording public spaces is very different than walking up to a persons private home, and recording their property, belongings, possibly inside of their home, security measures, etc. Once my pay is resolved (they also are not showing all of deliveries yesterday - at least one has disappeared from the app when it was there earlier today), I’ll be deleting the app and no longer driving. Which hey, I know they could care less, but maybe privacy-minded customers will care much much more.

Ui feedback

The recent updates to the UI have to be the most pointless things ever. Let’s put 10 extra buttons you gotta click instead of fixing the bugs that still have been happening on this app since 2022.

Decepción

Mala. Son unos estafadores.

Uber no paga

Ya no es la empresa que alguna ves fue

Unfair

Uber has no respect for their professional drivers, the drivers build the company by their expenses and now uber they treat them like. Shame on you Uber your time will come .

Pausing Delivery Offers

Uber Eats removed the ability to pause new requests while in route to deliver, then hits me with repeated requests that I cannot take until I’ve taken a break. My acceptance rate dropped tremendously in one hour due to this. BRING MY COFFEE MUG ICON BACK! Please.

Delivery driving experience

Uber Eats is an okay supplemental income experience. I’ve reported issues where I’ve made mistake or when a vendor makes mistakes. At this moment from experience- Use: common sense warning when accepting offers. Example: “accepting” a big “offer”, the driving to the pickup vendor sometimes a different driver had already accepted and taken it sometimes. However I’ve also been shown grace a few times for mistakes I’ve made in deliveries so my experience has evened out and I am trying not to “zone out”. Sometimes the app will spam a bit right before a drop off to give you a new one and I don’t have the mental capacity for it… anyway. The app seems to still be developing the driver user experience.

Mixed Feelings

I’ve been ubering for over 3 years and I must say overall it’s been a good experience, however, lately they’ve been letting people fraudulently make reports against drivers and taking action against us. Their app is also extremely buggy, I have to restart the app mid order EACH time. They need to allow us to be able to rate and report the customers too. Nobody will want to work for uber if they don’t get this straight.

I have a few Big Issues with Uber

Where do I start. I have been driving for Uber for 3 yrs now and continue to do so like the convenience. First one because I’m only part time driver I cannot meet the upgrade tier so that can get both the pickup distance and drop of distance and location. So I have to take a chance it’s a good ride. Second it does not pay for long distance pickups even when it tells me there is the “possibility” of a long distance pickup charge. Third I am not getting paid on tolls which are very expensive here.

Lastly i feel since we are considered “independent contractors” we should be able to set our own rates ! I would like to set a minimum charge of $10 this would also encourage me to take all rides !

Just saying !
