Uber is very slow for drivers
I am an Uber driver. Recently, Uber has been extremely slow and I receive very few ride requests. Sometimes I wait for a long time without getting any trips, including Comfort rides. This is frustrating and makes it difficult for drivers to earn money. Please improve the system and make ride requests fair for drivers.

Updates to make it unusable for me
Frequent updates have made it unusable and inconvenient times, like today I need a ride home from work in several hours and the app is unavailable. What if I had a real emergency?

Pleasant Lady Driver
Gail is familiar with Santa Barbara, being raised here. She was very personable, had a very clean car and was a responsible driver. I would recommend her highly to anyone, especially women. It’s very nice that it was a woman-to -woman ride.
Charged for a ride I didn’t take
I scheduled a ride the night before needing to be at a conference. The ride never showed up but I was still charged. I ‘spoke’ to at least 5 different people (or chatbots) and every answer was “After reviewing your trip and account details, we cannot adjust your fare at this time.” I DID NOT TAKE A RIDE because the driver DID NOT SHOW UP and yet I can’t get any of the bots to refund me or let me talk to a human representative.

Trip to a surgery
My driver took my mind off of everything I was gonna happen today. Very enjoyable and really appreciated the trip.

This is my first time riding Uber and it was wonderful experience. My Driver was a super great guy helping me with resources that I needed and gave me really great advice. I would recommend him anytime.

Devonne was right on time, up-beat, polite and engaging. The car was clean, welcoming and comfortable, and Devonne was such a sparkling personality that i was sorry to realize the ride was over so soon! Hope to run into him again sometime!

Why is every service gradually worse and worse now?
Uber used to be great but now like with so many other platforms, the service has slowly gotten worse and worse. Now the wait times are all over the place and if you don’t pay for the extra subscriptions, you end up waiting forever for someone else to finish a ride even though there are empty cars nearby. It’s also just like DoorDash and will tell you that your ride is “10 minutes away” but then just keep pushing that time back. There are no real estimates, just gas lighting so that it looks close. I only use the app if I absolutely have to now

Why pay extra for nothing
Why am i paying extra money for my driver to show up in 9 minutes or less but then he doesnt arrive for 15+ minutes?
