Not for me

I found the card was slow and was already trapped in a three month plan. I gave up and bought a card from a different provider after about 2 weeks.

Qatar not working

I bought a Qatar plan from Ubigi on 19 June 2026, but it didn’t work at all. I tried everything, but nothing worked. Such a waste of money!

Cancellation

I am waiting to hear that you will cancel this eSIM per my email to you two weeks or more ago

not working

bad service wasted money

DOESNT WORK AT ALL

I wasted 14$ for nothing. I got for turkey and I can’t activate the eSIM, despite following all the instructions and solutions like toggling off and on the airplane mode. The customer support website is always down. It’s a scam

Easy to setup, not impressed with speeds

I wish they had better speeds of data. I could not open most applications.

So often doesn’t work

When it works it works great but it doesn’t work so much of the time.
I’ve been trying to login to view how much data I have left for days and it’s always on the loading screen. I’ve always had issues with this but usually when I try again a few hours later it works but unfortunately I haven’t been able to login for a while and I need to get more data so.

Watch 👀out for 3 month minimum!

Generally the sim was good, sometimes a bit slow. Be sure you are aware of the three month minimum. If you don’t need it, you’ll end up wasting money 💸

Using Ubigi for a year now

After quitting my job I went traveling for a year and so far Ubigi has been super reliable. Except one time in Singapore where it refused to connect for several hours upon landing, since I was traveling from Malaysia

Bad!

Just doesn’t work!! One day good but nothing the next.
We were stranded due to no signal in a bad area in Cape Town.
Don’t buy!!!

Best eSIM on the App Store

I’ve used Ubigi in 3 countries (Japan, Mexico, Spain) and it has always worked flawlessly! The plans are super fairly priced and it’s a breeze to set up. Did not have any issues with connectivity but I was mostly in large cities.

I would say their customer service is hard to reach so if you do have an issue, I am not sure how that would work. But just don’t delete your eSIM ever and you should be good.

My go-to travel data

I’ve been using Ubigi for years now and so far I haven’t experienced any issue with coverage, speed etc. The process is extremely simple and fast. So far Ubigi has been and is my number one go-to data for my travel.

Not trustworthy.

Constantly my data plans were depleted earlier than plan description,so product does not match sale. Constant issues with product reliability. Won’t even take my card payments at times mostly when I need it the most. DOES NOT notify you that you’re running out of data until back connected to internet sometimes not even then. Horrible customer service when confronted with the problems you have there will be no reconciliation or refund of any type. They are not truthful or trustworthy and the app WILL eventually give you issues. I appreciated the times when I first started using the app but now the prices and the service are out of pocket and out of hand have a blessed day another customer lost. I hope that others have better quality of service than I did. Have a blessed day all. ((P.S.) downloaded another service provider and my card went through the first time. )

They require you keep your eSIM

I was a repeat customer, but I don’t like to keep inactive eSIMs on my phone. Apparently with the new app version there is no easy way to re-add or add a new eSIM. I tried both through the Ubigi app and through their website. I just decided to buy another eSIM from a different vendor and rage review the Ubigi app. Good riddance!!!

Poor internet connection

Am struggling to get reliable internet most days

In response to the developer

Response to my earlier review.

While I can’t say 100% that my phone was cloned or hacked by the eSIM I bought through Ubigi. It was what Apple and AT&T believe happened.

After my phone was hacked, seconds after I installed my eSIM card, I did a Google search, and this is what it told me.

Google: “Ubigi eSIMs have been reported to have security issues, including instances where users experienced hacking of their accounts after activation. It's advisable to exercise caution and consider alternative options for mobile connectivity while traveling”

I apologize that I left a bad review, but that is your problem. I am also still resolving the problem I believe, the phone company, and the phone maker believe was your fault. Everybody could be wrong, but I feel like I have to say something here.

Got unlimited plan then they limited my speed

Why would I want to work with a company that operates like this? I want a refund

App sucks

App, UI, interface, etc suck. Plans are also kinda expensive compared to competitors

Bad experience

I purchased two Japan data plans, 3 GB and 5 GB. Both plans appeared in my Ubigi account, but I was unable to use either of them because the Ubigi eSIM profile was not installed on my iPhone.

The app showed “Ubigi eSIM: Turned OFF”, but there was no option to install or reinstall the eSIM. The iPhone settings confirmed that there was no Ubigi eSIM profile on the device.

It is unacceptable to allow customers to purchase multiple data plans when the app cannot provide the eSIM required to use them. I eventually had to buy an eSIM from another provider, which worked immediately.

I paid for two Ubigi plans and received no usable service.
