Only use if desperate
If you’re desperate for a short term ride, go for it. If not, stay away, it is probably the most expensive out of all the apps in Dubai. Also, the biggest frustration of them all and if you have used it as much as I have, in the beginning its fine but eventually you start to notice that when you book through the app, you walk to where the car supposedly is and its not there. Save your money for either an app that you can hire for long term, and cheaper, since they also offer long term hire but at an extortionate price, or save up and just get your own car.

I got charged for parking
I was charged 125 AED for parking at my home location, where everyone parks and there’s no RTA zone anywhere nearby except about 10 minutes down the road. The same issue happens at work. When all designated parking is full, I parked on the ground floor in a visible, easy to find spot and even informed the driver via WhatsApp.
There is no clear guidance or disclaimer in the app about where or how to park. You only find out after being charged, which is frustrating, especially as a new user trying to follow the process correctly. When I tried to explain this, there was no support or understanding.
I’ve also had multiple experiences where the car is not parked where the app says it is, which makes finding it unnecessarily difficult. A simple improvement would be allowing users to upload a photo of where they parked the car to help others locate it easily.
Additionally, I’ve unlocked cars through the app before and the doors didn’t open, which adds to the overall reliability issues.

Best option to move around UAE
I have been using the app for a couple of days and if you have your own UAE license or an international and don’t have a car yet, this app is the best option for economic rides.
The app still needs improvement at the Ux/Ui side, but they compensate that with a pretty good and responsive Customer support service.

No correct locations at all , you spend time and money to go to the car location then you don’t find it . Beside the greedy 8 dirham at start .

They are scammers. You rent a car and they do not top up fuel balance. I called them, operator instructed to park car and request refund. But later they denied.

What once upon a time was a fair app has now totally become a biased app towards the whites who stay in Marina area .. all the cars are kept there and no where else .. nor discovery nor Furjan .. ther was once a time that cars where available everywhere which showed the spread layout of the app .. but now its only Marina area ..

Great Customer Service
I rented a Pajero from Udrive and I didn’t read the free fuel terms properly before filling up at an emerat petrol station. I was surprised to find out that Udrive only supports Eppco and Enoc in Dubai and when I reached out to the customer service, they informed me that I only needed to provide them with the refueling bill. It took less than 15 minutes after I provided the bill to be refunded in the form of Udrive credits. 100% would recommend!

Fraud company
Don’t use this service, they charge you extremely shady charges and customer care is also fraud. They charge you parking fine even if you park in proper non-residential parking and then wait for you to call and after some time may refund the money. Read their charges extremely carefully. It is much costlier than taxis at least by 7 AED. App itself is pathetic and their location is always wrong!

As a Canadian, I used this app only twice, so far (in UAE), very convenient, helpful and most importantly economical especially in this city.
Some options in app can be better and more users friendly (like choosing first method of payment) but overall very good.
Also in my second experience, I had a travel to the next city Sharjah and found out can’t end my trip in the other cities, so I spent more. After sharing this with customs service, although it was my honest mistake, he did a great job (Karim) and gave me some partial credit refund.
Overall highly recommended.

Dreadful
Absolutely dreadful service. It’s time that I wrote a review after using this application on many occasions. In my past two rentals, one was an hourly rental. The car was collected with 2% fuel remaining in the tank and took me 45 minutes to find a fuel station that accepts the U drive vehicles, at the same time have to pull over to a regular gas station and paying for the fuel myself for yet I’m still waiting for a refund. So, not only did I have to put fuel in myself, but I spent 45 minutes looking for a fuel station on a two-hour rental. The following day, I opted to rent the car for 24 hours. When I returned the vehicle, the application failed to lock it, and end the rental, the vehicle is stationed outside my apartment and Udrive using GPS can see that the vehicle wasn’t used and parked up however many attempts were made to end the ride yet the application wouldn’t allow it until the next day. I reported this as I did with the previous days rental yet I’ve had no response no refunds or no credit to my account.
Absolutely dreadful service gone downhill no customer support I would advise staying away from this rental company.
