Previous version worked better
Since this last update I can’t log in using my fingerprint. I have to type my login information every time.
Low functionality
There’s no way to see your individual account info. Clicking on the “account snapshot” (which only shows the total of all internal and external accounts) takes you to a page where they try to see you banking services.
Check deposit problem
Mobile deposit has not worked properly for months. Camera won't take the photos without a big delay and sometimes not at all.
Terrible
The app is never up to date, rarely reflects correct balances and now it’s saying that I don’t have an account at all.
“No transactions”?
I have been with UFB for over 3 years but in the last couple of months the app has started saying that my accounts have “no transactions” to display when I log on. This is clearly false as I use my checking account nearly daily. Also the last time I went to deposit a check it said that I needed to open an account to do so! I have multiple accounts open. How else do you think I got onto the app! This app was OK before but now it is basically useless. Not sure how much I can trust an online bank that isn’t transparent and doesn’t allow for basic online functions.

Worst banking app
I’ve had UFB since 2024. Their banking app is subpar to all other financial apps out there. It is glitchy, many times it doesn’t work at all. It takes time for it to give you your balance. Sometimes the balance is off or shows no balance at all. Really disappointed on how bad this app is. Only reason why I’m still banking with them it’s because all my payments are set up through them. I will be transitioning out soon.

Very inconsistent app
Sometimes it just won’t load any of my transactions, sometimes it won’t let me log in, and sometimes it works just fine. Very unpredictable and frustrating.

Speed up transfers
I love the app and everything about it but please speed up the transfers. You guys are quick to withdraw the money from my accounts but slow to transfer lol
Updated review of the App
Updated Review! The app got an UI update it seems and is working a lot faster and finer than before. Accounts seems to sync properly now unlike before.
Constant problems
This app doesn’t work half the time. Most of which results in attempting to sign in and it just doesn’t do anything and stays on the login screen. Due to this and not consistently being able to access my money, I wouldn’t recommend this app

The app is garbage. You should consider hiring new programmers/developers
Access problems
There is nothing worse than not having access to an app that is supposed to assure you that your money is safe. This app has a ton of glitches with Face ID coming and going and the password not being accepted. Yet the same password works perfectly fine via desktop
App closes
The app closes every time I try to print a statement. Infuriating!!

I don’t understand why the banking app is so slow compared to every other bank. Takes three business days to even load all my accounts, and my account balance never updates unless I manually re-sync the bank accounts.
Mobile deposit not working!
Photos for mobile deposit don't work most of the time. When does work, consistently rejects endorsement, done as instructed. Must use submit anyway to get initiated. Switching to another online bank very soon IF NOT CORRECTED!
Critical verification loop - action required immediately
I applied for a savings account over a week ago and have been stuck in a verification loop since.
Each day I receive the same email:
“Your application is almost complete – additional information is required.”
But when I click the link and input my credentials, the web version fails to recognize my login, while the mobile app accepts it instantly with the exact same information.
This issue is clearly a bug between app and web systems. It’s blocking full activation, costing valuable time, and delaying my deposits.
Please escalate this and resolve it immediately — this system flaw is unacceptable for a financial institution offering high-yield services.
I’m ready to complete everything as soon as the loop is removed. I expect this fixed with urgency.
