A Very Helpful App for Universal!!!
This app is very very helpful and crucial in planning my universal trips. I use it every single time I take a vacation at Universal and it’s crucial to my trips. It’s super helpful in seeing which rides and attractions are open and closed and where they are and how to get to them. Thanks!😄
HUGE APP BUG - PLEASE FIX!!
When trying to open the app outside of the Universal area, it keeps saying failed to login. When clicking on Sign In or Create Account, it takes you to to an API in a browser to login. Once that happens, it redirects you to the app and it CRASHES. Tried multiple times and it didn’t work. I have all my tickets stored there, plus I’d like to login to use the app. Please fix this has been going on since at least June!!

I’m tired
I was standing in a hot line for 2 hours just for it to shut down and I’m thirsty, I tried to take a sip of water from a water fountain and got a mouth full of poo water thanks for that…. Then the cherry on top of this sweat filled swamp, I when to get food and when I got it they gave me a empty dirty cup when I ordered a soda, the least you could do is get me a clean glass and fill the damn thing

Lagging & location issues
We love app Universal Orlando, but we don’t love the application we have to use. It lags and takes such a long time to pull up your passes in the wallet. The other day we try to use the passholder entrance for islands of adventure and instead of them just using the facial recognition which we think is a really cool feature and we love how well it works at epic but the employee held up the line by making us prove that we were an annual passholders before using the facial recognition. It makes it seem pointless. And yes, it took over a minute for the past to pull up and that might not seem like a long time but if you have anxiety and you’re standing in a line with people behind you this starts the universal day with hassle and stress. And then again as we’re going through the express line more often than not the facial recognition isn’t working or isn’t being used. So again everyone has to dig up their pass, but the app takes so long to populated it that it ends up holding the line.
While the lag of the Wallet and passes, pulling up is very annoying. It is not as annoying as the location service is not working properly. When we go to Disney World, the application knows which park we’re in and it shows us the map for that park as a default. There appears to be no default other than hey look at everything all at once on the universal app. It wouldn’t be so bad if it would keep my filter preferences since I have to keep selecting which part I’m in, it would be cool if it at least would keep me in that park until I select another one. But instead, it just resets and defaults back to hey look at all the wait times and all the parks for all of universal. I can’t imagine that that would be helpful for anyone.
As a sidenote, the fact that the photos are not included in the app, makes it a gigantic hassle to get the photo pass and to use it. We forget our photo pass scan thing at home all the time and then they have to give us new ones but we can’t even combine those online. Instead, we’ve been told that we have to slip all these cards back to the front of the park and eventually hopefully get them added to our account. I don’t know that I’m gonna purchase the photo pass again. It’s too much of a hassle.
Again, we love the parks and we wish that we could enjoy the application more. We have been successful in ordering food from it although often times a place will be open, but not showing that they’re accepting mobile orders on the app even after they’re opening hours. So it’s not completely smooth, but that part works better than other parts of the application.
