Didn’t like it

Its literally a scam once you buy a subscription there is no option in settings to cancel it plus its literally mindless courses which has nothing to do with gym or fitness.

Response from developer

Hi Ishmeet, you can cancel your subscription any time through the Manage Subscription link, or by contacting customer support. The app contains multiple workouts and training guides, just tap on the Guide icon at the bototm of your screen.

Great App overall

Love the training and how beginner friendly they are. No real complaints, only suggestions. I wish there were tutorials and tips on the form for the workouts. As a beginner, I have to spend the first week taking a little longer to do new workouts due to having to research proper form. This is probably the biggest drawback of this app, but I am hopeful that this is something that can be updated. Additionally, I think it would be helpful if the previous weight and rep numbers were automatically updated into the app as we go through it versus having to input the same information every time. It is a bit to keep up with and can be made so much easier if it were automatically updated. Lastly, an option to switch to body weight workouts would be great. Sometimes I want to work out on my gym's rooftop but am unable to because of the workout plan albeit there are guides for home workouts so it is not too much of an issue. Overall, I would recommend this app to a friend if they are fine with doing research for proper form beforehand or during their workouts. Great price for what you get but it can be better with some improvements.

Abandoned

This app had potential but hasn’t been updated in 7 months which shows me it’s on the back burner. I get leana is working with gymshark & doing other things but I came back to this app hoping it was no longer basic only to see there hasn’t been an update in 7 months, don’t think it’s worth it to pay for an app that has tumbleweeds

App is buggy

I have been following Leana for a while and decided to to purchase the app. The app is very professional looking and I like that you can search the guides based on your fitness level. However, it is very buggy and my home page is frozen every single time I open the app.
It would also be nice to be able to preview the exercises without actually having to start the workout, so that if you needed to switch an exercise you could do that before your workout starts.
I like the recipes section!

Good Exercises, App Needs Work

The content on the app is great and I have no complaints, but the app itself is really buggy and makes it frustrating to work with. For example, every time I open the app either after a day or even a few hours, it will completely lock up and not let me click on my selected guide, any individual workouts, or any functional buttons. As a result, I have to navigate to settings (which works for some reason) log out of the app, and log back in every time to “unfreeze” the user interface. This gets extremely tedious over time, and I expect better from an app charging money to be used.

Not very “uplifiting”

I downloaded this app to join the blueprint challenge and what baffled me is how if you miss one day of not hitting all goals of the day you get a video message from the app owner “Leana” saying “you have failed the blueprint” :) WHAT!! The goals are all habits that most people joining the blueprint would be trying to develop over the course of one month and missing some on one or two days shouldn’t warrant the message “you have failed”!!! A message like “try harder and try to remember your bigger picture” would be much more appropriated. I don’t think the app owner should really take it on herself to decide who’s failed and who’s not! So that was my first experience with the app and I think I won’t really be keeping it beyond the one month trial.

love how structured the app is !

I want to start by saying this app is what helped me get back into the gym ! My friend showed me this app and I’ve loved it since then ! I love how structured the app is and how it breaks down the workouts and the day. I love the open affirmation and the recipes as well! One thing I will say however is I wish there was a way for us to see the pictures we took at the end of our workout ! I look forward to the picture at the end but it simply disappears unless we save it or share it. I would love to have something like a photo journal to go back and look at just to see my improvement during the weeks.

Needs modifications

I am taking this down from 3 to 1 stat. The workouts only count if u do the whole thing, not accounting for days where you only have time for half of a 45 min workout. Even when I actually completed and was tracking regularly, which is one of the main reasons I bought the app, I went in to add progress for the day and it said I failed my progress and have to start over.
I mainly bought the app for Leanna and the good work she does, so although I’m already annoyed at the app 1 week into it (I bought the year membership), I’ll consider the money as charity if I stop using it cause of Leanna’s charitable actions. But please fix the app as it does have potential! Also it would be good to add workouts that are time on month friendly. ——

You can add and edit habits but can’t delete. Also it only counts the workouts within the app complete if you finish the whole thing. It doesn’t give you the option to mark it done for that day when you are not able to do 45 mins daily for example. It actually makes one loose motivation that way that you either do the whole thing or it doesn’t count.

The reason why I finally stuck to the gym.

I really hope Leana reads this review because I want her to know how thankful I am for this app. I’ve always struggled sticking to the gym, and every time I went I just didn’t know what to do. Every time was different fore me and I’ve always been shy and insecure for exercising by myself, not knowing what to do. Now I feel like Leana is my gym buddy and is guiding me and telling me what and how to exercise. I keep the screen on and workout with her. It’s like having a friend with you but also a trainer! I do wish there was an intermediate uplift guide. I just finished the beginner guide which is such a big deal for me. But I had to jump to advanced because I didn’t find any guide in the intermediate as good as the uplift you. There’s one but it’s body weight and the rest are home exercises. Otherwise I love this app so much, and I made the chickpea salad and it was delicious. Can’t wait to try the rest of the recipes! Thank you so much Leana! You have changed my life, and I am not exaggerating!

Excellent app

As someone who works out at home this app has been tremendous. I’ve worked through the beginner workout guide and now onto intermediate. I’ve gained a lot of strength in a short space of time and this app has really eased me into learning different exercises with the correct form. Leana keep doing what you are doing !

Entire thing behind paywall

I really like Leana, but I’m disappointed her app is 100% behind a paywall. It’s also pretty expensive compared to other fitness apps. It should have a free trial or something along those lines before users have to pay for it.

Love the flexibility of workouts

I’ve used this app for a while for at-gym workouts! I admittedly don’t make use of any of the other features outside of the guides or workouts (reminders, recipes, to-do lists, etc) but I do appreciate the affirmations when I first open the app! I gave it 4 stars because while the workouts are perfect for me, I wish it were possible to adjust the programmed exercises mid-workout or log the sets/reps/weights out of order. Sometimes it isn’t possible to do a superset at the gym bc it’s crowded or the equipment isn’t available. Ive had to re-log my sets into the app from scratch when I make adjustments. I know you can substitute exercises BEFORE starting the workout, but not once you started it. Other than that, I have no complaints other than the occasional bug. I REALLY love the 3 day / 5 day option, that’s my favorite feature about these workouts (:

Overall great

Overall this app is amazing. I just wish I can change some workouts while working out instead of going through the entire workout before I work out.

Help

I want to cancel my subscription but its says that there is an error cancelling the subscription

The best

I really love this app. That’s what I have been looking for. In love the workouts! And it’s not too expensive! Very affordable! 👏🏻

Glitchy home page

I love the design of the app but the home page is glitchy and won’t all any click through to the actual workouts - can’t follow a guide and instead have to follow the individual posts from the content library

Sessions

Wish I new the materials, machines needed before each workout! GREAT workouts though!!!

Laggy

Bought the subscription because I wanted to see the interface and trusted Leana a lot! The app is good but it is laggy, I can’t scroll down on the first page, very minimal programs, and when I accidentally “x” out of the workout my entire progress is gone. It isn’t the best workout app. I wish it was better for the price it cost. I am unfortunately going to delete the app with the loss of $60.

Has been my personal trainer for 3 years

Shows good techniques. Helps guide on how to push yourself. You can modify the workouts and it gives options that still work on the same thing. And I really love that they’ve added the affirmations. The first thing you read before you can even start your work. This is just a few things I love about the app and that keep me subscribed. I l feel like without her my gym journey would be complete.

Can’t open content from home page

Idk why this is an issue I have an iPhone 14. Im not be most uptodate version of the app. I can only access from the library.

Love Leana though so keep up the content and expanding the library. Just disappointed with the app functioning
