Not Good
Compromises people’s security by sending text messages with web links. US date formats in the UK, took me bloody ages to figure out what was wrong. Extremely frustrating by not listing all requirements before you start, so takes twice as long as necessary. Poor design, bad experience.
Poorly Designed & Frustrating
Where do I start? Firstly, used in UK so why does it insist on US date format? Secondly if there are several steps why do you not list the required documents at the beginning? Also, if a date limit applies to recent documents why does this not appear until after the document has been scanned?
Thirdly, are the types of acceptable documents not listed before you start scanning?
Whoever created this app needs to be trained on UI design and customer experience. This ended up taking 5 times longer than needed. I write this with 35 years IT experience.

Buggy app
App sucks . Buggy
Difficult, time consuming and I expect it to fail!
The app automatically took multiple images of the same doc. It says your annual council tax bill must be less than three months old. Why? I downloaded a phone bill but there was no way to submit this. I expect this process to fail if a real person ever looks at the submitted docs!
Needs a back button for mistyping
Easy enough app but it needs a back button or the option to correct any mistyping

I think it’s great that we can do this process now. However being digital it’s so easy. Most documents are also now digital like utility bills so there should be a way to submit digital utility bills or this process is just so difficult??
Brilliant App & excellent support
Easy to use. SOF could do with re wording. Straight forward. Don’t let the negative reviews put you off - user error! I completed the tasks in under 10 mins. Support line are brilliant very knowledgeable and helpful.
Very poor
I tried to use this but I have an issues holding my iPhone static. Scanning the document was impossible. There was a video but I couldn’t hear any instructions. I am loath to use the app again unless it is greatly improved.

App is buggy. Instructions unclear. Only using because the website triggers Norton alert and can’t launch and because the people I need to verify with insist on this app. Awful!
A total invasion of privacy.
Very concerning uploading all my data like this. Who knows where it will end up? Or who will hack into it? The photo aspect is horrendous as well. Where are we at in this world? I’d rather see someone in person privately before handing my personal data and having f a photo taken.

Also the support links did not work until the fourth attempt. And it took two days for an email to be replied to. Not impressed.
Security questionable
When using the app, there is a weird noise of typing on the background. For a biometric app, it does not inspire safety or security. Had to verify directly with my solicitor and it was not great.
