Poor refund experience
I canceled a service I had booked paying with PayPal. They were unable to refund my money. I received an email requesting I email them with my bank account and routing number for them to direct deposit. There are so many ways to refund money. Snail mail is a better option than emailing my account information. I can’t recommend a company that isn’t able to properly process refunds.

They have a website that doesn’t work right. I have booked six tours, none of them show on the site.
Frustrating website
Never disappointed
We have taken about a dozen Viator tours over the years and have never ever been disappointed. Each tour we’ve done in multiple European countries have been conducted with the utmost professionalism while in receiving value as well.
Doesn’t link to bookings made by my travel agent
I am not able to see my bookings in the app made on my behalf by my travel agent. There is no way to contact anyone for help
Easy & accurate
I’ve used in two different towns to find something fun to do and this app has not disappointed me. Prices are accurate and all information is included. I highly recommend this.

The app is fine but the company is hot garbage. Avoid unless you enjoy being screwed over. Will never use this sham of a company again.

My safety was not considered when my tour guide ABANDONED me and my friend in an obscure city.
Warning and beware! Book through ANY OTHER APP!! My friend and I were left for dead in the middle of nowhere due to being 8 minutes late to a meeting point and told to figure it out ourselves. We are tourists in a foreign country and don’t speak the language, we got lost for a few minutes and they drove off with all our stuff still on the bus. Again, we were abandoned in an obscure “city”/town in the middle of nowhere, hours from where we were staying. I have actually had nightmares about this scenario happening. We booked through Viator but Viator operated the tour through a company called “walking tours”. Viator did not care in the slightest and didn’t even give us a refund. Thank you Viator for making my NIGHTMARES come true.

Forced to download app
I was forced to download the Viator app in order to access the tickets to the Van Gogh museum. I will never use this service again.

App is great for booking tours but I was unable to change or add a new payment method. I was also unable to view my past booking or leave a review.

Used Viator for my trip to Rome Florence and Pisa.
Most of my bookings were done through the app and very easy to use, kept everything in one place and in order. Directions were clear and have used rewards to book trips cheaper for next trip.
