Was amazing, now unusable
Been using ViCare for many years and it got better and better with each update but the last couple of updates have rendered the app completely unusable. All you get met with is a spinning circle and a dashboard that doesn’t load correctly. My Boiler requires the app to get the full benefit of its features. Where is Viessmans QC on this as a lot of people require the app to control their installation.

Setting up an account is like getting in to Fort Knox, especially if you are part of a shared household with different log on ids
Pointless
This app is completely useless. Scan to connect wifi, despite being a new boiler if fails as it wont recognise the qr code. Want to reset your boiler because it has a fault, you need to find the website and download a pdf manual then do it manually - what is the point in having a wifi connected boiler if the connection does nothing? What to know about the current error code? Well the app gives next to no information, doesn't tell you the date or time the error occurred and won't let you clear the error from the app. Want to book a service for your boiler? Well the app doesn’t do that either. It has very basic info on current temperature, no real information on performamce over time. In fact I have no idea why there is even an app as it serves no actual benefit to the customer.

Complicated
Sometimes I will press the “ok” button on the boiler by mistake, putting it into “AP” mode. I then spend the next hour trying to repair the boiler to the internet. You have to love Viessmann for simplicity
Recent software updates - junk
The previous versions of the app worked just fine and was intuitive. This latest version of software is useless. Very frustrating to lose the functionality that was marketed to us users.
Rubbish UI/UX
On iPhone 14 Pro the app can’t scan the QR code as it opens the main camera which can’t focus on the QR code. Never mind, let’s try entering the ID manually. Well, the ID is in hexadecimal format but you can’t type letters as the app brings up the numeric keypad.

Erst das Positive: Das ÜberwachungsModul an der Heizung ist hübsch anzuschauen… das wars dann auch schon.
Nun das leider negative: In der App: Service eingetragen, und der Status steht auf „Deiner Anlage geht es gut“.. prima. Anderntags zeigt die App „Störung“. Und es reagiert nichts und niemand. Auf Nachfrage kommt dann irgendwann nach Wochen ein Service-Techniker und schaut nach dem Gerät… alles gut. Da kann ja erst mal die App und das Modul nichts dafür. Aber genau dafür ist ja die App/Modul geschaffen - frühzeitig zu reagieren. Viessmann ist sicher eine gute Wahl - aber die selbst ernannten „Viessmann-Spezialisten sind der Grund dass nie wieder Viessmann auf einer bei uns eingebauten Anlage stehen wird….
Nun haben wir seit Wochen einen Ausfall nach dem anderen- und das Modul zeigt fleissig:Deiner Anlage geht es gut“…. OHNE (WEITERE) WORTE.

Thank you for the latest update
Fantastic app and works as it should now. The issue of the Climate Sensor reported as not working has been resolved now after the April 2026 update. All in all, as a user, the app does what it’s supposed to do, mainly allowing full control over the heating system and showing the system status at the touch of a button. Love the idea or features of the holiday mode and comfy or cozy day at home settings.

Teknolojinin zirvesi çağı yaşıyoruz ama uygulama vasatın üzerine çıkamıyor. Klimaya sonradan taktığım modülle bile zaman ayarlı seçeneklere erişebiliyorken fabrika çıkışlı olan üründe bu kolaylıklara erişememek gerçekten enteresan. Kısaca ben ön ayar yaparak gece ve gündüz çalışma sıcaklıklarını ayarlamak istiyorum ama böyle bir seçenek yok maalesef. Markaya güvenerek araştırmadan aldım , hata ettim. Diğer markalarda bunlara kolaylıkla erişebiliyorlar.

Good but reinstate feature
Don’t get me wrong it’s a great app and the boiler responds immediately, however app previously allowed you to change the temperature of the current mode from the Home Screen using one tap. Now with latest updates, you have to tap a total of 3 times to change the temperature. Please allow temp to be changed again from the first screen.
