How about a TV guide
The resort has lots of TV channels but no way to know what is playing or coming up on any channel. Maybe this app could provide a TV guide
Does the job
Does the job, but could use some improvements. Clicking explore twice should not open up the resort selector, should be set somewhere else. Would be nice to be able to change the currency to USD for the menus. Would be nice to be able to reserve more stuff on the app or view more events. I do like the filtering options.

App no actualizada
Llegué a Vidanta de Cancun y las actividades que me indicaba la aplicación no estaban disponibles. Me indicó uno de los empleados de mala gana(porque el servicio ya no estaban como hace años,ahora tienes suerte si los empleados te saludan) que las actividades mostradas en la aplicación no coinciden con el programa de actividades de ellos. Me pregunto para que sirve entonces esta aplicación????

gps this bad in 2025 should be illegal. for a "luxe" resort they desperately need to redo this entire app

The maps on this are not good they only make things more confusing. For such a large resort you’d think the maps would be easier to navigate!
It just does not work
The app simply does not work as designed. When looking for directions the GPS location will randomly have you off in some distant land. The app contains a lot of conflicting information and is very poorly executed.
Location shown is incorrect
In the Vidanta app my location is shown as being several hundred meters south of my actual location (Vallarta). Google maps and the Bon app both showed my location accurately. This makes using the app for directions almost useless
One star until annoying 50 year banner removed
Every time you go to open the app, this 50 year banner drops down and interrupt what you’re doing, please get rid of this useless animation

Un plus a lo que es una plataforma informativa muy estable seria : 1 Agregar las rutas para correr dentro de los filtros de puntos de ubicación en el mapa,
2 Estaría de maravilla poder seleccionar mas de una variable para visualizar en el filtro de puntos de ubicación en el mapa
Yo quiero ver al mismo tiempo los hoteles ubicados en el área y los centros de consumo en la misma área sin cambiar de pestaña y dejar de visualizar uno u otro.
3 Hay información que requieren sus usuarios que actualicen con más frecuencia

Todo muy lindo todas la personas y como the estates y grand luxxe y lo mejor de la app y el hotel Vidanta y lo envío de Puerto Vallarta nuevo Vallarta. Y lo del parque padrisimo

Not very useful nothing really works well would not recommend easier to just download the map from their website and hope for the best
Needs improvement
Map on the app is not great. Can only zoom in so much and does not rotate at all making it a bit difficult to navigate the resort. Nothing on the app showing the tram routes or which ones to use to get places. Could use a better filter for locating food/what’s open when ( certain restaurants closed certain days but don’t know until you click on the restaurant itself). Also not all restaurants have the menu on the app.

App Not working
The app does not work at all on my android version 11 software. It opens to “Pro tips to maximize your app experience”. Then I can do nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing…
Ugh, as bad as ever!
I tried the very first version of this app years and years ago, before most people even bothere with apps for this kind of thing. It was horrible, and so is this one: massively drains your battery, constantly uses location in the background for no reason, and spams you with notifications that are 100% irrelevant to your current activity or even your whole visit.
And now, the new dining menus added are AWFUL. You can only see a couple of menu items at a time, and have to flip between different pages back and forth. Since printed menus are no longer offered on property, app menus are the only option and they are implemented in a very poorly-considered manner with awful design. It’s very hard to set up shared dining for a large group by scanning across several pages, scrolling up and down, all trying to figure out what goes with what. Then you have to memorize it all, because there’s no menu to point at for reference while you order!!
The app’s map of the property is perpetually out of date and has very little information. It’s barely functional at all, like they wanted to have a map but had no idea what people would use a map for.
Meanwhile there is no *functionality* to the app. I can barely reserve restaurants — it’s just an OpenTable browser on a small screen — but I can’t find one that’s open, or filter out all the tiny snack bars and pool bars. I can’t boop a button and get my concierge; I can’t get directions around the large property; I can’t let the bell know I need something without calling on the land line; I can’t see the housekeeping schedule, or see what floor the concierge desk is open, or make the app DO ANYTHING.
It’s basically just the regular bad Vidanta web site, except it drains your battery and spams you.

App is disappointing; Resorts are nice
App states other locations will be added. They have not.

No way to change to Celsius and metric
App doesn’t allow changing units to Celsius and metric making it super inconvenient.

Such a great UI with accurate information. Lots of the older reviews have clearly been taken into consideration. You can see price ranges, each menu, and make reservations. The directions feature is a lifesaver!
Super nice!
Great UI (coming from a software developer) and excellent links to the menu for each pool. Way better than carrying around a paper map or wondering if the bar across the pool has better options. Only suggestion I would make is the ability to book entertainment and upgrades from the app would be great.
