Times Out and Wastes Your Time!
The app isn’t great because when you try to check in online, it takes information from you twice and asks the same questions at various parts of the process e.g. it asks for your details twice and is an efficient way of doing things. Also, it gets you to very end when you are checking in online and then it cancels the whole process, leaving you at least 20 minutes of wasted time! The flights are pretty good and reasonable prices though.

Useless
Doesn’t show my upcoming flights unless I input all the details every time. Can’t check-in. The only thing it does do is spam me with irrelevant notifications. Zero stars!
One of the WORST apps
When you advertise that you are a 4 star airline, you fail to mention that the app you’ll use was designed by a toddler. It is horrible and you spend hours when you are trying to do something very simple.

No harsh comments, but I always thought Vietnam took pride in how far it’s come. Yet somehow the Vietnam Airlines app feels like it’s still celebrating achievements from the last century. The world’s moving at jet‑speed, and this app… well, it’s still taxiing on the runway.A serious update is overdue, the experience is clunky, outdated, and honestly a bit disappointing. Vietnam deserves better than falling behind in something as basic as a national airline app. Come on VNA, let’s lift off into the 21st century.

The worst user unfriendly website and application
I am a frequent traveller and I flew with many airlines and booked different airlines before. I have never seen any website or application as user unfriendly as Vietnam airline before. I tried 3 different devices and two different browses and spent about 5 hours to make simple booking for other websites. I am finally gave up on booking with your airline. Even your virtual assistant is not working. How can I trust your airline with arrive and quality

Nothing functional
The only thing you can do on this app is checking flights. You can’t check-in online so can’t add your boarding pass to the Apple Wallet, you can’t add your membership card to the Apple Wallet, you can’t check your future bookings without inputting all the details. It literally loses the purpose of a mobile app

What is the point of this App?
You can’t manage your flights as reported by numerous others. Developers obviously more focused on making it look pretty with nice colours and pictures rather than actually being useful and taking notice of customer feedback.

昨年9月より使用していますが、使いやすくなってきています。
やはり、遅延や欠航が気になるので、ベトナム航空一択で渡航していますが、日程に余裕を持ちチケットを手配するとかなり安く手配出来ています。
質問は電話が繋がりにくいので、メールにてやりとりを。
必ず返信は来るので、信頼出来ます。
ただ、時間はゆっくりです。

Can’t sync your flight with app. You will need booking number each time to search for flight info!!! They need to improve this!

App does not work well.
This App has so many problems and the recent ‘upgrade’ made it worse. Vietnam Airlines is really good not sure why they have such a bad App.
Hit or Miss
Sometimes the app is okay and other times a complete flop .. tried to upgrade a domestic flight, charge came to €63 but on the payment page it displayed €6,300 .. use it mostly to check in ..
use less app
Booking a flight from this app with your profile will not automatically add your flight in this app. I can look up my reservation but can not add it in this app. Totally useless.
Go back to PAPER PRINTING my ticket
UX/UI is HORRIBLE. Enough said.
Better to Send a Pigeon
Vietnam Airlines is probably one of the better airline in Vietnam, however their app’s user interface is unintuitive and difficult to navigate. They should really invest in a UX/UI team to modernize the app: no easy feature to login, no Apple wallet syncing, no ability to quickly reference upcoming flights. International customer service number will ring then give you a prompt for “no one is available, please call again later” after 2 mins on hold.
Honestly, either call them on their Vietnamese line… or send a messenger pigeon. If you’re lucky, you might get it resolved. Forget about whatever status you have with the airline, you’re basically economy when it comes to customer support.
