What's New in Vigor

1.7.1

September 20, 2026

Solving some bugs. The app now speaks your language in the places it never did. The very first thing iOS shows you - the screen asking permission to read your health data - was in English whatever language your phone was set to. So were Siri's phrases, about half of the Apple Watch app, and most of the watch complications. They are translated now, in all ten languages, along with around a hundred phrases elsewhere that had lost their accents or had never been translated at all. - Friend connections check themselves now. Each time you open the app, Vigor confirms that what it published for a friend is really on iCloud, and publishes it again if it is not. A connection left half-finished by an earlier version repairs itself: nothing to reinstall, nothing to re-add, nothing to tap. - If a friend reinstalled Vigor, or turned sharing off and on, their phone lost every trace of you and would never have found the connection again. Yours now asks them once more, and they just accept. - A friend's number no longer blinks out because the network hesitated for a moment. - On the Apple Watch: tag names, what Siri says back, and the sleep and tag complications are all in your language. - The technical "Connection details" panel at the bottom of the Circle tab is off by default now. Turn it on in Settings, under Data, if you ever need to report a problem. Requires iOS 26 and watchOS 26.
