Double Charged Me
When booking a hotel room on the app, the app froze after entering my payment information. I never received a confirmation email and when I went back into the app, I didn’t see any evidence of my booking. Since I had no confirmation of the booking I assumed it had failed, and booked again. When I got to the hotel it turned out they had received both of my bookings, even though I never received confirmation of my first one, and I was charged for both bookings. Customer service told me it was due to having multiple tabs open (in the app which doesn’t make any sense) and waited to deal with it until it was too late for the hotel to refund, so I got stuck with double paying for a hotel due to their app glitching.

Watch for safety
I had a bit of a worrying night as ai pulled up to my hotel booked through Vio — 3 homeless people drinking tequila on the roof of their car outside my room. One guy smoking cigarettes on the second floor, right by my door and AC. The whole rooms smelt like cigarette smoke and vio did not get it refunded. Sleeping in my car at 3 am leaving this review after they failed to refund me. Genuinely walked into a smoke filled hotel and they said to deal with it, good luck. Not using this service again, they do not put customers first.

It’s a trap!!
So the app only books nonrefundable bookings, and if your grandchild accidentally books a room while playing on your phone, they can’t help you. I talked to two or three people. I even called the booked hotel number and they said I had to go through the app. All I got was the “round and round”, so I’m out over $100 for a room in the city that’s 1100 miles away. Complete scan and a waste of time.
