Still broken pretty broken.

Send feedback feature doesn’t work so I’ll paste this here:

1. Can’t change my profile picture at all even after the latest update.

2. India is still in the list of topics even though India and Pakistan aren’t fighting anymore.

3. You still mess with people’s keyboards. When I type in the app, everything is forced lowercase. The app also doesn’t respect my auto correct or auto punctuation settings.

4. The app heats up my iPhone after prolonged use. I’m on a 17 Pro Max on iOS 26.4 beta 2. However, this has occurred even when i wasn’t on any beta.

Please look into these issues ASAP. Thanks.

Still broken.

Can’t change my profile picture at all even after the latest update. Also why is India still in the list of topics? India and Pakistan aren’t fighting anymore.

Used to be great now just verrrrrry buggy

This app used to be my go to for quick bite sized news. Lately though, not so much. It’s constantly crashing, will stop scrolling, and for some reason will go on and on and on about the same topic just different article like Trump/Epstein (big losers) or anything happening in India. I’m not sure why it favors soooooo much content from India lately. So this app has fallen in the gutter and needs to be rescued.

Extremely Biased

App looks and feels great, but it shows news on certain topics with extreme bias and pushes a certain narrative about them instead of impartial facts.

Very Biased News

I wrote a message asking if there was a way to turn off comments on news stories after I noticed almost all comments were from a single user who was clearly a right-winger. It made me realize that almost all headlines and stories on this app were also right leaning. Very little unbiased news. After sending in my message it asking to turn off comments it appears I’ve been blocked from using the app because the feed just times out and doesn’t load. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Seems like this is just a snowflake propaganda machine.

Love this app! ❤️

Great given the limited time I have each day to catch up with news and entertainment. Highly recommended if you are looking for an AI news app! A+

worth it.

able to feel more informed and less overwhelmed catching up with the world

Everyone needs this news app

It’s quick, mix of important breaking and trending content, beautiful ui, well written summaries. Covers a whole lot of topics. Very global. Love it!

Quick Accurate News

Brings me up to speed of current events in most efficient way. Been a fan since it began in 2020!

Happy

Very good application love from japan 🇯🇵🇯🇵

Top app through the Israel-Iran war

First app to notify me through the caos.

Could you please add a translation feature?

I would like to have a translation feature so that I can read English articles in Japanese.
Alternatively, I would like all curated articles to be displayed in Japanese translation if I set Japanese in the language settings.
I want to read world news articles, so it’s not a problem if the sources are not in Japanese.
Thank you for your consideration.

Notifications, bias

I like the idea for this app and I would like to get notifications for breaking stories, but the notifications seem to come for many stories regardless of importance. Also, the app seems to have a bit of a political bias in one direction but not always.

Short and sweet

Short and sweet news in 9 seconds Volv is my favourite news app

Can’t open links in browser

Why does this app not let me open news stories in the browser? And the share button doesn’t work, it just buffers endlessly.

I don’t want to use your embedded browser. Fix this and it’s four stars, that’s how much this means to me.

It would be five stars if, having fixed that issue, you also made the news come in faster, as soon as the story breaks. Volv lags significantly behind primary source news feeds.

Worked fine until this morning

I still get notifications yet when I open the app it says it can’t refresh the feed and to try again later. I have used a VPN before but I tried to open/relaunch the app with my VPN disabled and it still shows the same message. What gives? Also you guys need to fix the comments. It forces everyone to type in lowercase. I don’t want to have to manually capitalize every new sentence. Please stop messing with our keyboards.

Poorly summarized and lots of spam

This app prominently features a plethora of spam articles that are exceptionally easy for its users to spot. It urgently requires an improved reporting mechanism to address this issue.

Everyone needs this app! A fresh and fun take on the news

Great curation, very relevant to the younger generation Perfectly crafted summaries Beautiful and easy to use UI No unnecessary fluff saves me a lot of time LOVE THE APP!

What an awesome concept

Puts random knowledge into the hands of hands others. Encourages knowledge seekers to create and share. Great app.

They removed the feature that made Volv what it was

This is my first time ever writing an app review because I’m so confused and upset. The point of the app was to give short, 9 second summaries of news so you can remain informed. I really liked it as it allowed me to scroll on it like a social media app, but instead of brainrot it allowed me know what’s going on in the world. It was awesome because it encouraged remaining informed and curiosity. If you wanted to know more about the topic whose news you just read, you could simply tap and it would take you to the source. I loved it because it would encourage me to learn more.

But now, the feature to go to the source is gone…? Like, what’s the point anymore? How do I know if what I’m reading is legit? What’s the source? It’s frustrating if I want to read more and now I can’t. I don’t understand why they took that feature away :(
