Poorly made app
Many screens have no back buttons, poorly tracks user state which often requires force closing the app to recover. God forbid you tap a notification, it’ll clear from Notification Center but the app will never tell you what the notification was for. As for the service itself, the walkers are great but the booking system is insane and overly optimistic about arrival times.

Been using Wag! for years, always a good experience
About six years ago, my family went on vacation and when I dropped my dog off at the kennel she was desperate to get out of there. I had never seen her like that and it about broke my heart, but what could I do? We had used that kennel many times and she usually enjoyed being there but clearly something had happened the last time she was there.
We decided at that point to try to get someone to stay at the house with her. We had been using Wag! on and off for a dog walker and got one of their people to spend the week with her. It was totally fine. Later when we got another dog and eventually a cat and a turtle the cost of the house Sitter became cheaper than the cost of putting two dogs in a kennel and then paying someone to come over and take care of the cat and the turtle anyway.
Since then, every single person we have had in our house has taken great care of the animals and great care of the house. Literally every time we come home the only reason you know that they’ve been here is because they’ve washed their towels and taken the sheets off the bed. Otherwise, the place is spotless.
Also, you can message your house Sitter at any time and ask them to do a small thing like sign for a package, or bring the garbage cans in, and just check in to see how your animals are. You can’t do that with a kennel.

Wag has been a Godsend for my pets!
The app is struggled to book walks - it’s whole point in existing
I used wag for 40plus walks without much isssues. Something changed where it had trouble processing payment or connecting to walkers. Did everything I could think of on my end and contacted there customer service and was blown off. Sent an email letting them know my experience and I’d was moving on to another service then they wanted to help so I wouldn’t leave.
