As a sitter I sometimes feel unsafe
I’ve been pet sitting for over six years now, most of that being on Rover, and sometimes I feel unsafe meeting strangers. The people requesting my services are not required to have photos or any info about them or their pets. I have to do a background check and have all this info about me which makes sense, but it feels very one sided. I have no idea what sort of situation I am walking into half the time. There should be more safety measures for the sitters as well as the clients.
Also, they cancelled a payment without notifying me. The Rover company is feeling more and more unprofessional.

Sitters? Where?
This app would be good if people actually were on here to actually watch some pets. Maybe others had an amazing opportunity with it 3 to 4 people in and nothing and then somewhat $100 a day $200 a day no thank you I’ll pass.
Would never recommend this app
Would never recommend this app to anyone, if your dog is hospitalized or receives and emergency care while with one of their sitters, good luck trying to get reimbursed. Speaking from experience of watching my perfect health dog, go through $15k worth of medical bills, with no solution
Scheduling issues
Suggestion: Please add a stronger block or warning to prevent booking requests during dates marked unavailable, so pet parents and sitters on Rover don’t run into avoidable scheduling issues.
