Twice no show & no notice

This is the second time this service has canceled my reservation without notice and without contacting me. I’m horrified and feel stupid for giving them another chance.

Price GOUGING PET PARENTS

Wag! SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR HOW MUCH THEY PRICE GOUGE PET PARENTS.

It cost over $900 for me to get my dog watch meanwhile the sitter only makes $500. THIS APP IS LUCKY I CANNOT POST THE RECEIPTS HERE.

SHAME ON YOU. There will be an article written about this!!!

$99 for a meet and greet

In order to do a meet and greet you need to “book” a service. After our meet and greet we did not want to proceed with the service, and therefore had to “cancel”. We were charged $99, only a fraction of which went to the boarder we did the meet and greet with.

Great pet sitter and walker

It’s hard to say if Lily Underwood likes cats or dogs better. She is excellent with both, notices little details about your pets and can manage all kinds of challenging situations that may come up - your dog decides it doesn’t want to walk any further? She can handle it. Doesn’t want to eat? She has a solution. She has been great with our dog and cat. I would highly recommend her services.

Poorly made app

Many screens have no back buttons, poorly tracks user state which often requires force closing the app to recover. God forbid you tap a notification, it’ll clear from Notification Center but the app will never tell you what the notification was for. As for the service itself, the walkers are great but the booking system is insane and overly optimistic about arrival times.

Been using Wag! for years, always a good experience

About six years ago, my family went on vacation and when I dropped my dog off at the kennel she was desperate to get out of there. I had never seen her like that and it about broke my heart, but what could I do? We had used that kennel many times and she usually enjoyed being there but clearly something had happened the last time she was there.

We decided at that point to try to get someone to stay at the house with her. We had been using Wag! on and off for a dog walker and got one of their people to spend the week with her. It was totally fine. Later when we got another dog and eventually a cat and a turtle the cost of the house Sitter became cheaper than the cost of putting two dogs in a kennel and then paying someone to come over and take care of the cat and the turtle anyway.

Since then, every single person we have had in our house has taken great care of the animals and great care of the house. Literally every time we come home the only reason you know that they’ve been here is because they’ve washed their towels and taken the sheets off the bed. Otherwise, the place is spotless.

Also, you can message your house Sitter at any time and ask them to do a small thing like sign for a package, or bring the garbage cans in, and just check in to see how your animals are. You can’t do that with a kennel.

Womderful

Great drop in my doggies seemed very happy

Mr. Flen

Wag has been a Godsend for my pets!

The app is struggled to book walks - it’s whole point in existing

I used wag for 40plus walks without much isssues. Something changed where it had trouble processing payment or connecting to walkers. Did everything I could think of on my end and contacted there customer service and was blown off. Sent an email letting them know my experience and I’d was moving on to another service then they wanted to help so I wouldn’t leave.

Easy to Use; Comprehensive Dogwalker App

When it comes to who you leave your precious pup with, it’s overwhelming. Friends have “an eccentric but loving” grandma, others have a walker who stresses obedience. On Wag, the easy to use icons offer a comprehensive landscape of ways to communicate with the person watching your pet. You know at all times where the pup is and whether they eliminated on their walk.
Our walker was lovely and loving— I couldn’t have asked for a nicer— and more reliable— walker. Thank you WAG for qualifying the walkers to make my life— and Pup’s— easier.

Luz is top notch

Great fit for my labradoodle Angus. Thanks again for a great “walk around”with angus

Terrible user-inner face

Just a terrible user-inner face as someone who uses it to make money

Dog walkers be warned..

Dog walkers: just so you know, this company will not pay you if you get bit and can’t finish the job as a result of an incident. You will not get paid for your time and gas getting to a job and as such, they encourage you to not report the incident.

Terrible Support - Non Functioning App

App Functionality is very poor. Was able to book appointments but not chat with confirmed provider. Allegedly, per support, despite the ONLY function not working being chat - based on my years ago data deletion request - my issue was not fixable. Not going to reestablish a new email ID just to make it easy for WAG to work. This made the app worthless and will switch to Rover which has much less “friction”.

Test walk in different state

I just got my profile and see a test walk in Alaska when I live in Washington State. I messaged with the help chat and it gave me a bunch of suggestions that did help the issue at all and wouldn’t listen when we responded with feedback after its suggestions.

Wag stole $80 from me, denied it then deactivated my account! AVOID THIS APP ⚠️

I have the bank records to prove it.

The place we found an AMAZING overnight sitter…

I was in a “no sitter” situation for my dog at the last minute and I found Kara who was absolutely incredible!
I love how easy the app is to use and the ability to get updates and several choices when looking so you can do the picking… but if you want WAG to pick the all will do that too. Payment process was seamless and I will absolutely use my last sitter again!

Please fix the report card experience

This is cumbersome with old report cards flashing everytime I open the app.
