Oh my :(

When it works it works but when it doesn’t it’s terrible. They’re only ever late delivering lunch on the days when I have 15 minutes to eat. So now my probably cold lunch when it arrives is guaranteed be stone cold. No way to leave waiter feedback in the app or via email. Oof.

One one the lowest quality app

the service itself is not bad, but the app is terrible. not even good enough support, not good database management and UI

Cannot use app

It worked fine for years but now it opens then crashes when you try to anything. So I can’t order food from my workplace

First time

I just downloaded the app and now I don’t know where to go. I registered an account and then I click take out then it goes to a page that says waiter app bla bla bla. Then what?????

Outdated app interface

UI looks like something that hasn’t changed since the AppStore was first launched

No address

They don’t deliver in none of my addresses

Review feature not obvious

The app doesn’t give an option to give feedback to the developers, it only directs here. Here are some things that can be improved.

Note I use for deliveries at work which subsidizes our meals ordered at certain restaurants for delivery at work, so the “VCS” menu options I select may be different from individual app users.

It wasn’t obvious how to rate orders. Turns out it’s the thumbs up/down icons on the main menu, cute but not obvious: the rest of the menu is written (not icons); and those two thumbs icons are a single button, unlike thumbs up/down icons just about everywhere else, no wonder it’s misleading. Anyway once I type my first review, I find I can’t type more than about 4 lines before what I type disappears under the keyboard. No scrolling! (Have they never tried their own app?) I have to edit my review somewhere else and paste it there.

Generally the interface is slow but workable. It’s a bit distracting that when I click “Previous orders” on a given restaurant for example, it shows None for some seconds before updating with the actual information, rather than showing blank until it knows. That kind of thing.

Looking at previous orders, it shows me the total amount of all employee orders for that meal delivered to the office, rather than only what I ordered which is what’s relevant to me.

Overall it’s useful. There’s certainly much room for improvement.

Never finds restaurants

It always tells me there are no restaurants in my area.

One of the most horrible apps

One of the worst apps out there for food deliveries. Using Camera to post crashes app. Not inutitive.

Old interface

How do you still have the wrong aspect ratio for your app in 2022?

Needs more polish, testing

Waiter.com will notify you by app and email that next week’s VCS lineup is available. Great, click the mobile notification. It just launches the app. Okay, not great, manually select VCS. On Friday evening it shows you the current week with (now not useful) selections for Friday Saturday Sunday, and prevents you from clicking the prior days. There is no way to move to the next week.

This is not an issue of their backend, waiter.com the website handles this fine, and the link brings you directly to the VCS page. This app needs more work.

App needs work

There’s no way to tell the restaurant an alternative for items. You order and just hope you get what you want

Not user friendly

Trying to place a order with the address of the restaurant and it keeps saying something else NOT USER FRIENDLY

No restaurants!!!

I can’t order from this ridiculous app because it says no restaurants in your area. I’m am in the middle of down surrounded by restaurants!! Get it together!😡

Make mobile reorders easy please!

The desktop version makes it super easy to replay an old order. The mobile version makes you hunt for old orders. Other than that, all good!

Grossly outdated app

Waiter.com’s app is in dire need of a major redesign. In fact, in 2021, it still is only designed for old iPhone screen dimensions and is still using the old iOS 6 design language. The app needs to take Apple Pay too.

Terrible app

Saw an advertisement poster in the ground at a stop sign near my house. We live in the country so I thought that’s cool why not. Downloaded the app etc and nothing is available at all. So why advertise out here??? Makes NO sense. Two thumbs wayyyyy down

Meh

Waiter.com has some interesting restaurants in their lineup. However, we rarely use them because they are too expensive, have too many fees, and charge for napkins and utensils. They also sell snacks and desserts on everyone’s page, which is annoying, and seems in inappropriate.

Wow

I literally just downloaded this app an I know there’s so many restaurants around my area yet it keeps sayings there’s no restaurant near me. The worst delivery app I’ve used, definitely will delete and do NOT recommend.

Not user friendly and too expensive!
