It works as intended, but there are problems
The app is basic, and the UI is indeed barebones. But it’s a service app, not intended for a daily use.
I do use it to download charging statistics monthly, and the latest firmware update brought a very nasty bug with it. Charging statistics started to include the same entries multiple times, as because there’s a limit in number of entries stored, earliest entries get deleted and disappear.

Es ist keine Verbindung zur Wallbox mehr möglich. Sie wird zwar gefunden und angezeigt aber keine Verbindung möglich. Hat in der Vergangenheit alles funktioniert.

Didn’t work at all and I had to pair my phone and the box every time I attempted to use it. What a pain.
Leaves much to be desired
Received a Mini Wallbox charger with our vehicle and man is this app a disappointment.
It looks like something out of iOS3, has limited functionality that is effectively change the amperage and the LED brightness, which cannot be turned off.
I’m glad this wallbox was free, but with this app, I feel ripped off.
Disappointing that BMW/Mini have even considered this a realistic option in what’s now a very competitive market.

Did not work after first day!!

Needs zero stars - useless embarrassment of an app
I ended up with this “app” from the BMW Wallbox user manual. It is a total joke. Avoid the BMW Wallbox at all costs.
Can’t even pair with the Wallbox (no Bluetooth PIN), pops up an authentication screen with an unknown password. Even the “reset password” link just pops up a dialog that says “enter a restore key” or something like that, with no information on what that even means.
The main issues here belong to BMW, but it doesn’t charge the fact the app itself is clueless and useless. Chinese trash in this case.
FYI - BMW themselves say, when cornered on this, that the app isn’t supported outside China. So why does this app even exist in the App Store here? It should be purged.

Bluetooth fonksiyonu ile wallbox uygulama üzerinden kontrol ederek 3.şahısların kulanımını engelemek istiyorum. DIP tuşlarını doğru ayarlayıp bluetooth ile bağlantı yaptım fakat maalesef şarj işlememini başlatamadım. Konuyla ilgili desteğinizi beklerim.

Так и не поняла где взять код для активации приложения. Перебрав все цифры, указанные на станции, так и не получилось.

Hier kann man nix mit anfangen. Zumal die Wallbox von BMW die App lädt und dann ständig in den Rot Modus wechselt. Was soll das? Die App zeigt aber wirklich auch gar nichts an. 👎

No consigo poder entrar el el cargador , no tiene manual ni clave nada no consigo conectar ni entrar en la aplicación, gasté dinero en el cargador y no puedo hacer nada, un desastre
