Not good

Not good

App lacks features.

I love working for this company. I have had a great experience with customers and support. The only issue I have is the app and emails. Only once a week they send you an email with a very generic break down of your orders and pay. They’ll tell you how much tips you got but not list WHO tipped. The only way you get this information is in the email since it’s not even information available through the app. Again the app could be so much better if it kept a log of your finished orders and had a detailed payout summary.

Waste

There are never any orders available. A complete waste of time ..

Not receiving orders

I’m not trying to make this app look bad but I downloaded this app cause I needed extra cash I’ve been on this app two days straight in haven’t got one order? I reach out to support in was told try on the weekends still haven’t got an order I am highly disappointed And reading these reviews I am disappointed I have osha 10 and 30 and I do health inspection and cpr I’m going to forward these complaints to my team cause it’s ridiculous all these workers saying that there being looked over they money being took and that hampr is very rude. 1. Customers will do anything to get they money back 2. Should allow workers to take pictures of these clothes 3. Yall can’t do base off what a customer saying 4. We are the people this app doesn’t even let you accept orders can’t even talk to a real live person

Such a great side gig!

As a single mom, finding extra income to afford activities for my kids was always a challenge—until I discovered the washr app! This app has truly been a lifesaver. The work is straightforward, and I can easily fit it into my busy schedule from the comfort of my own home. The money adds up quickly, giving me the financial boost I need without sacrificing time with my kids. The support team is incredibly helpful and always there when I need them, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a flexible and reliable source of income!

Washr Experience

I worked for Hampr as a Washr. I had 5 stars and was frequently “favorited” by clients. Today, I received a complaint that the clothes returned had a “strong urine odor.” This is literally impossible. They just didn’t want to pay for their laundry. And Hampr refused to pay me for hours worth of work. This was my FIRST (and obviously ridiculous) complaint. They don’t care at all about their employees and there is no quality control of customers.

Hampr, I am so glad to hear in your response that you want to better support your washrs. A tip: when an employee has zero complaints and 5 stars, discuss the very first complaint with them. Do not send a form text that “your funds have been removed because of a complaint.” I used the client’s own included detergent and washed the clothes completely separately. My washing machine is 6 months old and still sparkling. If your management took time to discuss it with me, the complaint would have been noted as obviously fake. I actually took photos of every client’s laundry at delivery and would happily have provided that. Deferring to clients that don’t want to pay instead of employees that have zero incentive to return perfectly folded “urine-soaked” clothes is a horrible way to run a business. Future washrs beware. The bad reviews are real.

Horrible company to wash for

The handbook explains ways seeming as if they will do all they can to help and make an issue between customer and washr as smooth as possible but they don’t. They are letting customers get over on what they are paying for someone to wash pick up, wash, dry, fold and return their loads of clothes. Customers are freely able to not follow instructions when packing for pick up, using correct bag sizes, and providing a label if needed. They can make false accusations of any kind and once the customer reaches out about anything you’ll automatically be suspended from your account. They can use large trash bags instead of small which means they are paying for a small load but it’s actually a large load. The pay isn’t as much as it should be for travel, time, buying and using certain detergents and handling things professionally. Customer service takes a long time to reply during important times. They are rude and don’t consider the work that has to be done instead they pay very little and make a simple job of doing laundry unpleasant, frustrating and inconvenient hard work. If customer cancels you will not receive any pay even if your at their home to pick up and they don’t have things ready. Their handbook isn’t correct on how they are an good company and beneficial for many ways of making “easy” money.

Washr Experience

I worked for Hampr as a Washr. I had 5 stars and was frequently “favorited” by clients.

Today, I received a complaint that the clothes returned had a “strong urine odor.” This is literally impossible as I kept everything completely separated and in a different room. They just didn’t want to pay for their laundry. And Hampr refused to pay me for hours worth of work. This was my FIRST (and obviously ridiculous) complaint. They don’t care at all about their employees and there is no quality control of customers.

User-friendly

I love washing for hampr. It gives me a way to earn extra money from home with flexible scheduling and they have great support.

Don’t work for these folks

There’s so many things that I can list by working for this company in only one week. First, the laundry that you get will have feces, blood and other bodily contents that you are expected to wash. In the handbook, it says that the customer is not supposed to even put those types of items in the hamper but they do it anyway. If you reject the item, the customer will complain and you will get a violation on your account. Also, customers are supposed to work out any stains on their clothing but they do not and you are expected to work the stains out. If the customer complains, you will have a violation on your account for that as well. The customers account will state that they will provide their own detergents/dryer sheets but they don’t even put it in the hamper and expect you to wash their clothes anyway. They do that to lower their costs. Also, customers will overstuff the hamper so that they will not have to pay for multiple loads. The customers constantly find ways to cheat the system but you will be accused by “support agents” of cheating the system. Such a shame. If you are have unexpected car trouble, the support agents will be rude and condescending towards you and suspend/ban your account. The support agents also hate when you ask questions on what the violation policy is and they will accuse you of trying to work around the system. Don’t even waste your time on this. There’s better companies elsewhere.

Dont even waste your time

If u send in an application they wont hire you. They dont even email u back in regards to your application. Dont even waste ur time and effort with them. Its not worth it. So many other gig jobs you can do besides wash ppls laundry.

app is slow

app is slow when opening. i will get a notification that an order was posted, then as soon as i open the app, the map takes forever to load and someone has already claimed the order. i get it is competitive, but i think the app could use some work.

App opens slow

When I first installed the app it opens fast but once I did the updates it now opens slow. Sometimes it won’t open. So I have to close it and try again and then it opens but it is slow. Once I am in it works good but sense the update it is slow.

App is slow

When orders come through, it has been very slow to load to accept an order. Every since the map update. Please fix this

Want to sign up to wash but getting an error message

Hello ,

I am trying to sign up to wash but when i click apply now i keep getting a domain error. Can we fix this so i can sign up and update my review.

Job cool App crappy.

So I love the idea of washing and folding bothers me none especially because I am a stay at home mother with a lash extension business.
But the app is complete crap
First-it gives crazy hampr updates for 30 miles away even though I have it set to a 10 mile limit.
Second-there is North, south, east, west directions. That just isn’t ideal for me. A general area bubble would be 100% better.
Third-it doesn’t break down orders once you’ve been paid out so example—- it just shows that you made 46.39. Um hello? I would like to see how many hamprs I did. How much money I made from it and the tip (if provided).
If those things were fixed this job would be amazing for me. Lol

Not worth the trouble

They require you to buy detergent they don’t supply it. To make matters worse they want you to use a specific brand of detergent that costs nearly $25!! You are paid less than $8 per load of laundry. Washing, drying and folding can take anywhere from 2 hours of your time. It’s not worth the money. This is like slave work!!
