As an adaptive developer myself, I noticed the best way to get the attention of the product team. I have a very important piece of feedback for you. You waste all that real estate at the top of the home screen showing some prediction of the future that’s pretty much useless…. He said you should be showing the history of my net worth, that’s way more useful and I’m going to be switching to Monarch because I want to see a history of my net worth growing. I will update my review to five stars once I get confirmation that my feedback was heard.

My Favorite Financial App
Super easy to use, love the interface, instant transfer with participating banks. I recommend Wealthfront to friends and family all the time.
Earning more than a regular savings
I like that the annual interest is yielding more than if the money just sat in my trad savings. I like the flexible money moving options as well, i don’t feel stuck should i need to move cash around.
Great service with excellent benefits
Been using the service for over three years with great rates and quick transactions when needed.
Used to be great
Wealthfront was recently purchased by UMB. Transfers now take extensive periods of time and tracking your money is a problem because they bundle charges and hold your incoming cash for days to over a week. So disappointed.

Bad app they steal your money and close your account
They closed my account over night after I just had funded it and now they are saying they don’t know why it’s been closed and they don’t know when the funds will be cleared

Really need a memo/note feature on cash account transfers and deposit/withdrawls.
Versatile and enabling!
I got into Wealthfront mainly to use the tax loss harvesting function but then found a plethora of other account types and options that I find very helpful and eventually got to use indexing, tax loss harvesting, and smart beta!
The cash account is decent and I use it but there is no check writing function and they wouldn’t issue a debit card (in my case) and they offer lower APY, which is a shortfall compared to similar houses like Betterment.
Overall it is excellent and has quickly became my favorite place to invest.

The best finance app I’ve ever used. Was super skeptical at first, but after deep diving, I realized I’d give it a try. I seriously live by them now. Keep it up wealthfront!

They’ll steal your money
They “detected fraud” on my account and turned off my debit card out of nowhere- no suspicious transactions, no evidence of this and they didn’t even notify me. I just had to call them to find that out and now I’m locked out of my money and I’m wondering if I’ll ever get it back.
Please add landscape iPad support
Please add landscape iPad support. It’s ridiculous I have to use the app in small vertical mode on my iPad which I use as my laptop.
Plaid is terrible
Long time user. I love the app and the service. The recent switch to Plaid though has been terrible. It often gives me an error when trying to connect institutions if it does actually work, you can be sure it will break again in a month or so and ask you to reconnect. Just an awful experience for an otherwise great Investment app.

Plaid update not good
Loved the ability to easily link all my investing accounts in the Wealthfront app. However, a recent update to their Plaid security protocol resulted in the inability to link accounts from some investment firms (i.e., T Rowe Price, Dodge & Cox). Frustrating enough to look for a new app.
Invest
Use other brokerage accounts for investing. It takes 1 to 2 days to find your account after selling your stocks

So pretty and user friendly. Motivates you to pay debt off and see your numbers grow!
“Upgrade” to using Plaid
Wealthfront recently updated their account linking process to use Plaid. Now I cannot connect my 401k, my mortgage or my external brokerage account making the entire wealth tracking useless as these are my largest accounts that have frequent changes. Plaid was introduced months ago and these issues still persist. The most frustrating part is all of these connections worked before but do not work now. Thanks for the “upgrade”.

This app works great and is accessible, a very nice substitute for the desktop website
Very rarely do I come across apps which are built well. Most apps nowadays are just a mirror image of their desktop websites.
This app is very nice, it shows you your performance history, and lets you control quite a few settings directly from the app. The only time I use the desktop website now is to get a temporary password for tax preparation purposes. Otherwise, I am exclusively on the app.
This is one of the most well-thought-out apps I have ever used.
Aside from a great UI, this app is one of the rareones which is fully accessible using the voiceover screen reader on iOS. I would not expect that from an investment app, since many times the disabled community is cut off from apps like this one. But, Wealthfront has taken extra steps to make their app accessible.
A quick sidenote, to everyone who is rating this app down because of portfolio performance, this is not what these reviews are meant to be for. Your performance of your portfolio does not indicate usage or ease of use of the app. Please stop rating the app down because you're not getting the returns on your investments that you expected to get.
