Transfers
When scheduling an internal recurring transfer, there isn’t an option to add a description. It would be helpful if there was an option for that.
Horrible app
Constantly logs you out, can’t log in, turns Face ID off constantly, constant “updates” but nothing is updated or improves, can’t tell what each merchant is. The app alone is making me consider switch banks

Gooey interface is absolutely horrible on a mobile device, font size not adjustable, doesn’t comply with phone settings not every screen complies with dark mode, honestly feel it’s discriminatory towards someone with a visual Disability. Would never recommend the app and because it’s been so bad I’m actually closing my account because banking convenience shouldn’t be uncomfortable.

Notifications
Hands-down, the worst banking app to get notifications whether it's through text or email doesn't tell you when a deposit was made a withdrawal was made not even so much as a fraud alert my TD BOA and Chase tell me every swipe every deposit every withdrawal over a certain amount in real time this app has the feature to do so, but doesn't do it needs to be fixed

Webster Banking app makes it so easy to send money as well as check my transactions and updates in real time, never leaving me in the dark about the amount in my account!

Somehow manages to get worse
Recent updates not only made a terrible app worse, it also removed tablestakes banking functionality such as being able to see future scheduled transfers. It’s like they are trying to lose customers.

Won’t accept login
The app never recognizes my password, whether Apple fills it in or I do manually. It functionally does not work at all

I’m not sure how a basic banking app can be this bad in 2026. I’m constantly being told I have the wrong password when I haven’t changed it. The app consistently doesn’t open or work at all. Webster you need to fix this and make it consistently workable, it really shouldn’t be this difficult.

Worse Bank and App ever
This has to be the worst bank, outdated and obscure. They claim that all of their glitches and locking you out of your account is because of their fraud help/protection when it clearly isn’t. There is no reasonable reason to lock someone out of their access to their accounts or mobile app once a month, claim it’s for password change and protections, and then not allow any of the password change or protections to occurr and give messages to call a 1800 number that leads to no one because it’s closed. Don’t close access and leave no CAPACITY to have your customer who’s money you hold no recourse. This bank is foreign, anyone you speak to is in another country even when they do answer the phone. It’s a complication that provides no “fraud” service whatsoever.

I haven’t been able to download this app for years. I have to sign in on the web.

clunky. sign in decides to not work some days. Hopefully now that they got bought out they will actually get a good ap developer. However, I would bet against it.
Never Works
This app never lets me sign in! It doesn’t recognize my face, or my password, it’s always down. None of my other apps have issues with Face ID it’s only this one, it’s so frustrating !!!
