Why does it say my passwor dis not correct when i literally have it saved everytime? This is the third time its happened and im sick of ringing up and asking them to reset my password. Do better westpac your app sucks
So many times I can't log in over the years
Have been with Westpac for 6 years (too lazy to move) and not being to log into their app is common issue. I get the circle of doom and try again later. Considering they are a bank with money it seems like this is a basic they would have sorted by now, yet it has been ongoing. It's not my phone, have a newer model, and I update the app in the hopes it will get better. But my hopes are yet to be realised.

Ok I guess
Seems ok but a bit average for a big bank. Has a few glitches like when I try to view details of a Term Deposit I get an error message saying I can’t open a new TD. Meh..
Getting better all the time
I love the new features in Westpac one - especially the card controls.
Identity fraud risk
Collects biometric data without consent. This data could be stolen and used for identity fraud.
Forced behaviour tracking
This app tracks tour behavioural biometrics without permission. Do not use.
App crashes a lot
The app crashes a lot with me having to login with Safari a many times. Now have a feature you order accounts and when you try and save that new order the app just crashes. This is the poorest app compared to the other banks
Hopeless for such a wealthy company
For the most part of the app is okay and does its job but there are two things which perpetually annoying and seem never to be fixed. The first one is when you go to search for a transaction amount instead of getting figures you get a selection of grey lined boxes. Contacted support about three months ago about this still not fixed l. Second thing when I went to file a suggestion to fix this, the Send function broke with a generic error message. The app will never get better if you can never hear from us.

So annoying!!
This app is so annoying how you can’t see all of your accounts. It makes banking so hard. We were told it would be fixed by June 2025. This still hasn’t happened. Seriously considering changing banks!
Can’t use Apple Pay
There is no way to add my debit card to my phone. The “add to Apple wallet” is not available on my app. False advertising
Time waste
There isn’t enough time in the world to play twenty questions when transferring. Horrendous payment experience, worse than using an Australian bank.

Unreliable. Most frustrating bank app ever.
This is the most annoying and frustrating banking app ever. It often shows incorrect balances, does not complete transactions or just doesn’t even allow you to login. The way the errors are handled with just ‘something went wrong’ is awful design and makes for a very painful experience. This banking app fails to meet the basic requirements for a bank app and it’s so incredibly disappointing.

I cant log into my westpac one app, it said “we failed to retrieve your information”, and i think its outdated but I cant update my westpac app since there arent any update button

Unresponsive
Don't know what's happened to my app but it's become really unresponsive on my phone. You open up an account and I can't see anything half the time, the rest of the time it takes about a minute to refresh and show me transactions. Quite frustrating when you're out and you want to do something quickly. For example I might want to transfer money between accounts and it freezes.
The other thing I've noticed is that when I've gone to pay for things like my spark Bill or my New Zealand tickets, through Internet banking option (because I want to avoid credit card fees Fees), it doesn't work for some reason I need to use the credit card.

So slow to load
It’s slow to load transactions on your mortgage account or credit card annoying when you’re needing to see it quickly. Sort it out man!
